Zak has positional size and was one of the most versatile players in camp. He got better and more dominant as camp went on, and he emerged as one of the best players at camp. He is a three-level scorer who prioritized scoring. He has everything you want at the high school level in a modern forward as he was active on the glass, finished well in the paint and around the rim, has good hands in traffic, is athletic, and showed decision-making capabilities off the bounce. He is a tough shot creator and shot maker off the bounce. He has true five-position versatility on defense but did not commit himself to that end of the floor as he did the offensive end. I spoke about it earlier, but his versatility at 6’5″ made him one of the camp’s more interesting prospects. His development as a playmaker and willingness to defend will be the biggest boost to a stock that skyrocketed at this camp.
Malique Johnson Malique Johnson 6'0" | PG Tri-Cities | 2024 State GA (6’0/CG/’24/Tri-Cities)

Malique was one of the toughest guards to deal with off the bounce. He plays on or off the ball, and regardless of which position he is at, he accomplishes his assignments. As the camp went on and Malique got settled, he became one of the camp’s most feared scorers as he could score in isolation, run and score out of the pick-and-roll, and finish in transition. He is a relentless attacker with a reliable outside shot. He was active on the defensive boards, often started the break, and did a good job kicking the rock ahead, getting the ball up the court faster with the pass than the dribble. He was an iso scorer who used his scoring threat to elevate players around him. His stock definitely rose by competing at this camp.
Gabriel Jackson-Mallett (6’2/G/’24/Kennesaw Mountain)

Gabe is a downhill attacking guard who got to the cup in transition and in the half-court. His vision and passing skills were on full display, and he made others around him better. There is a lot to like about Gabe’s game, as he is a playmaker capable of making both simple reads and complex feeds. He has a brilliant and mature floor game and was at his best with the rock in his hands, knifing his way through the defense and scoring at the cup.
Jonathan Goldson Jonathan Goldson 6'3" | SF Hapeville Charter Career Academy | 2024 State GA (6’3/G/’24/Hapeville Charter)

Jonathan did a good job at both the lead and off-guard positions. When the rock was in his hands, he was the ultimate floor general and playmaker. He has court awareness, vision, and high-level passing skills. He has a strong drive game and does a good job spraying to his shooters when he collapses the defense. He showed his ability to score at the off-guard spot, but the strength of his game was when he was freely creating and orchestrating the offense. Jonathan is a high-effort defender and was physical on the glass from the guard spot. He is a relentless competitor who tries to impact every possession.
Brayden Westbrooks (6’0/G/’25/East Paulding)

X/Twitter: @BraydenWestbro6
Brayden put his name in the hat as one of the best three-point shooters at camp. He made it clear early that he is the caliber player that requires constant defensive attention. He is not a player you want to lose and give clear looks at the rim. Brayden also showed his ability to put the ball on the floor when he is ran off the line. He did a good job making the quick transition to a playmaker and made good decisions with the rock when he was looking to create off the bounce. He plays with a quiet toughness, and his outside shooting will play a big role for his squad this upcoming season.
Josiah Benjamin (6’0/PG/’26/North Atlanta)

Josiah was aggressive in getting to the cup. I did not see much of his perimeter production from outside, but he was very productive off the bounce. He is a floor general who sets the table for his teammates and does a good job distributing the rock on time and on target. He is a primary ball-handler who does a good job pushing the pace and getting easy opportunities in transition for himself or his teammates. It was difficult for defenders to contain Josiah as he constantly put pressure on the rim.
Dylan James Dylan James 6'6" | PF River Ridge | 2024 State GA (6’6/F/’24/River Ridge)
IG: Dylan.james21
X/Twitter: @dhlanja63588171
Dylan was highly productive as he had an impactful day. He has a good physical profile and plays with a high motor. He impacted both ends of the floor as well as the glass. Dylan did a good job on the offensive glass and scoring, as put-backs were an important part of his scoring diet. His physical play and constant running the floor overwhelmed opponents and made playing against him look very tiresome. Dylan is a guy who doesn’t mind doing dirty work, and he impacts winning beyond the scorecard.
Emory Harper (6’2/G/’25/Pebblebrook)
Emory seems to have moments where he was locked in and other moments where he just had it on cruise. When he was engaged, he was tough off the bounce, but those moments were spread apart during the times I saw him play. Now, I must say that he did a very good job on the defensive end of the floor and was very energetic and disruptive. His activeness on defense elevates his teammates, and I am sure he brings more to the floor, but what I saw at camp was his impact on D.
Brandon Lanier Brandon Lanier 6'7" | PF Lanier | 2025 State GA (6’7/F/’25/Lanier)
Brandon has good positional size and was very active on the boards. He is an energy and effort guy who left his mark across the stat sheet. He has a nice touch in the paint and did a good job scoring in the paint and around the rim. He is a tough competitor looking for an impactful junior campaign.
