We recently released our ranking of the 2026 class, a much-anticipated project. Using those rankings, we can create an All-Ranked Team for the upcoming season.

Looking at the All-Ranked 2026s, we see some impressive big men who are already making their mark early in their careers.

First Team Bigs

PF: [player_tooltip player_id='2209776' first='Cameron' last='Love'], Olathe North, #2 overall:

In the opening version of the 2026 rankings, Love came out as the top big. He provided the size an extremely small Olathe North team needed to make a run to 6A state. Despite being just a ninth grader, he had to body up big men and provide rim protection and rebounding. He was effective in that role, while also bringing the athleticism to make offensive plays and keep up in transition.

C: [player_tooltip player_id='2209778' first='Ethan' last='Taylor'], Shawnee Mission Northwest, #4 overall:

The biggest big man in the class, Taylor played as a freshman at 6-foot-9. He is taller entering his sophomore season. Because he is still a bit of a project, he landed at number 4 in the initial rankings. But he might have the highest ceiling in the class. He's got great length, light feet and solid skills. He played a supporting role for a really talented young team. We'll see how his role evolves this season.

Second Team Bigs

PF: [player_tooltip player_id='2209777' first='Ian' last='Premer'], Great Bend, #3 overall:

One of the most accomplished bigs last season, Premer was not just a supporting role player as a freshman. Great Bend put him in position to make plays from day one. He is a highly skilled big man who we listed as a power forward due to his size, but he can do it all. He can put the ball on the floor, move about the perimeter in search of shots, and knock down shots at every level.

C: [player_tooltip player_id='2209780' first='Sebastian' last='Hines-Turner'], Wichita Collegiate, #6 overall:

Hines-Turner was the most highly-decorated ninth grader in the state last year. He picked up all kinds of 3A all-state honors. He is a long athlete who can run and jump with the best of them. Hines-Turner has a mature physicality and really stands out on defense and on the glass. Surrounded by young talent, Hines-Turner and company look to make a lot of noise the next three years.

Third Team Bigs

PF: [player_tooltip player_id='1892885' first='Drake' last='DeBaun'], Shawnee Mission South, #8 overall (pictured):

A highly intelligent big man, DeBaun is a standout shot blocker. He understands what is needed from the post position, on defense, with the ball in his hands and going after boards. He is a fine passer has a lot of offensive skills in the midrange. He turns defensive rebounds into offense quickly by throwing deft outlet passes or turning and pushing the ball himself.

C: [player_tooltip player_id='2211342' first='Dawson' last='Ruder'], Hays, #13 overall:

The third of three bigs we ranked as “centers,” Ruder made a big impact as a ninth grader without being expected to score a ton. He focused on defending the paint, bodying up opposing posts and rebounding. He's very strong and works intensely in the block. Ruder knows how to catch in the post and find open shooters or back down a defender to get shots around the rim. No one is going to outwork this young man, which will make him one of the best big men in future seasons.

We recently released our ranking of the 2026 class, a much-anticipated project. Using those rankings, we can create an All-Ranked Team for the upcoming season.
