I was even more impressed with his improved athleticism and ability to push the ball up the floor with pace. He has solid size for a combo guard and was the main facilitator for his team in the game that I watched. The sophomore has a very advanced skillset for his age, as he was able to play at different speeds and get to his spots for shot attempts. He did most of his damage in the mid-range and in the paint, being able to work his way around defenders with ease. u003c/spanu003e","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6522ec5ab89e1"} /--> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1293963"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"u003cspan style=u0022font-weight: 400u0022u003eMekhi is such a unique prospect and reminds me of Dain Dainja when he was at Park Center. He has a strong 6-foot-4 frame, but can make plays with the ball in his hands when in space. He has a tight handle and has great vision which he uses to find teammates for open looks. His combination of scoring and playmaking is rare, making him very unpredictable when he has the ball in his hands. He made a difference on both sides of the ball, constantly flying around the floor making plays. He has quick hands defensively, as I saw him poke falls free from opposing ball handlers. Offensively, he was one of the main ball handling options for his team.
