Prep Hoops Indiana Top 250 Expo Player Evaluations – Team 11

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Prep Hoops Indiana Top 250 Expo has become an annual event that rivals any put on throughout the year in the Hoosier State. On Sunday afternoon and evening at the Noblesville Boys &amp; Girls Club nearly 1500 of the states best Class of 2024, 2025, and 2026 prospects came to display their skills in front of many of the most influential people in Indiana High School Basketball. This event is the premier way to get “on the radar” prior to the high school season. Over the next week or so it will become clear why we always say “nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops Indiana.” With that said, here are the player evaluations from Team 11 of the 2023 Prep Hoops Indiana Top 250 Expo.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>***With nearly 150 prospects at our event, I was able to watch 12 of the 16 teams live. Since the event, I've gone back to watch the other four on BallerTV in order to complete all of the player evaluations. However, as you can imagine, this is not the easiest task. He was a consistent threat playing off of ballscreens both as a guy who could attack the paint to score and as a facilitator to open teammates. On one drive he finished a really impressive floater over length and size in the paint. Young was strong with the ball, played through some contact, and was effective at the end of his drives both scoring it and finding the open man. The 6'5u0022 forward from Bedford North Lawrence High School showcased the ability to step out to the perimeter and make catch-and-shoot three-pointers while also having the size to finish consistently around the basket. He was a very good rebounder on both ends of the floor as well. After moving to Southport High School from North Carolina, the 6'7u0022 big man dominated around the rim at ends of the floor. Offensively, Kalala is an above-the-rim finisher that moves very fluidly and dunked seemingly everything. On the other end, he blocked shots and cleaned the glass consistently. He was able to score in a variety of ways including a catch-and-shoot three at the top of the key and several finishes at the end of drives from the wing. Stewart has good size on the perimeter which helps him when attacking closeouts and finishing around the basket.
