About Pedro

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Point Guard that picks up 94 feet.when I'm in position to take a charge I will take it most of the time able to facilitate to open teammates.quick with the ball and getting that extra pass for the shooter.my ability to knock down shots when needed down the stretch.always communicating at the line, bench, court, etc.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

my personality is very diverse I can be serious at times or just be me.my mentality is very important to me because if you have your mental right, you can achieve anything you want in life.even on days when I don't feel like getting up and getting in work I still do because that's where the dedication and good mentality comes from, the work!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm involved in a photography business I shoot other athletes in my area and it's been going well I love taking pictures of other athletes. My non sport awards are honorable for my grades for every semester.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I would say that my leadership role is very strong because becoming a leader is very important to the game of basketball even if I'm not playing I'm still communicated to my teammates and telling them to go,telling them how to run the play, and how to get organized that's what I do as my role as the Guard.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

some of the challenges I have faced especially as in incoming freshman,is that the varsity guys did not like me on the team.so what I did is lock down every player that didn't like me and that's how I earned their respect.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college that wants me to improve on everything. For example: my academics,My mental health, being the best player I can be,stuff like that. also looking for a college that believes in me.i want a college coach to trust me as their point guard.

Pedro Padron Pedro Padron Pedro Padron 5'4" | PG/SG State NM is the type of guard every team needs. He plays with consistent energy and competes from the opening tip. Though undersized, he embraces that role by becoming a relentless on-ball defender. Pedro makes it difficult for opposing guards to get to their spots, applies steady ball pressure, and anticipates passing lanes well. His ability to disrupt rhythm defensively often ignites transition opportunities for his team.

Offensively, he plays under control and within the flow. Pedro doesn’t over-handle or force action he processes quickly and makes the right reads. When it’s his time to score, he does so decisively. He can turn the corner and get into the paint, and when defenders collapse, he’s comfortable pulling up in the midrange.

When defenses key in on him, he doesn’t press. Instead, he elevates the possession moving the ball from a good shot to a great shot. His combination of defensive intensity, decision-making, and controlled aggression makes him a steady two-way presence and a catalyst for team momentum.
