Prep Hoops Illinois covered the [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] Showcase which featured a ton of quality prospects some known and quite a few new names emerged. Take a look at our evaluations of the top performers from the 11th grade workout!

[player_tooltip player_id='2105166' first='Vincas' last='Buzelis'] (Hinsdale Central – 2025)

Buzelis was the highest ranked prospect at the event. He only played in one of the two days, but was extremely impressive. He has size, strength, and athleticism on the wing. Love the grit and toughness that he plays with on both ends of the floor. Really competes defensively even in an open gym type setting along with rebounding well. Struggled shooting it, but when aggressive taking it to the cup he could not be contained including closing one game out with a straight line take converting with his off hand. Adept finishing with either hand at the rim and is a crisp passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105287' first='Braylon' last='Gray'] (Grant – 2025)

This lead guard does a nice job of changing gears and getting to the rim at will. One of the most relentless attackers at the event he was super smooth with his handles getting to the foul line or scoring in the paint at a high rate. Threw quite a few on the point dimes as well. Definitely made a name for himself at this event!

[player_tooltip player_id='2538983' first='Ethan' last='Henderson'] (Carmel – 2025)

Liked what we saw quite a bit from this scoring guard. Plays on the ball but is out there to get buckets! Great length and athleticism to go along with burst with the rock in his hands. Created off the bounce shaking defenders to get in the mid-range for pull ups. Also had a sweet step back. His blow by ability might be his biggest strength as he consistently got to the rim over and over for and-1s. Creativity and passing flair were also showing in his game as he made several nice dishes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2321417' first='Lazar' last='Lazarevic'] (Rolling Meadows – 2025)

This wing with length is a solid rebounder that caught our attention early on with how he rebounded in traffic then took it coast to coast for a score. He can defend some and knocked in a three off the catch.

Logan Shrout (Stevenson – 2025)

You are buying the spot up shooting here! That is exactly what this guard did over and over throughout the event was knock in triples in bunches!

Jack Kelleher (Maine South – 2025)

Long and lean frame on this projectable wing. Like the upside as he should continue to grow and is a plus shooter from beyond the arc with clean mechanics.

Liam Curtin (Stevenson – 2025)

Versatile scorer as a small forward that can convert spinning layups, turnaround jumpers, run the floor for scores, and flashed defensively.

Arnas Simaitis (Lake Forest Academy – 2025)

Strong bodied forward that was a good defender mixing it up inside and even had a LBJ block. Nifty around the hoop on a couple layups and hit a three. Flashed a post game including a nice seal and score inside.

Craig Xia (Stevenson – 2025)

This point guard did a little bit of everything for his team at the event. Tough kid that can hit an open shot, handles it well, and is a good passer. Crafty finisher in the lane.

Paulius Karvelis (Lake Forest Academy – 2025)

Wing with solid size that can shoot it from three off the catch but also flashed some athleticism running the floor for buckets and showing a baseline runner game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1550476' first='Caden' last='Anderson'] (Marmion Academy – 2025)

This point guard caught our eye at the event with his playmaking and passing flair. Great at seeing the floor and getting it up the court in transition. Solid shooter from mid-range and three. Nifty finisher around the rim with a variety of soft touch finishing moves.

Jesir Rogers (2028)

This competitive guard had it rolling. Not the biggest player, but he showcased a strong mid-range game, scoring in the open floor, dishing with either hand, and had active hands on the defensive end turning steals into points.
