Prospect Report: Niko Clark (2018)
Class of 2018 6’1 Niko Clark is working his way into being a nice combo guard. This summer his game has blossomed and he hopes to get some college interest this year.
Niko is a tough guard that embraces physicality. His biggest strength is taking the ball to the basket whether it is in transition or taking his man off the dribble in the half court. Niko can also take control of a team in the half court and initiate sets. Cleveland is a team that tends to use very little clock when they are not in transition, so Niko has the responsibility of ensuring execution. The 6’1 guard does a good job getting after it defensively with active hands.
“AAU this past summer was pretty good I have to say. I played on an underrated team called NW Prospects and we made a lot of noise this season. We are also showing that we are a good team and we earned the respect of other teams that were in our bracket. I am hoping that next summer we can enter into a elite bracket.”
“I have been working on my game and it’s entirety this off season, I’ve been getting my body bigger physical and I have been working on my jumper and handles. I’m trying to be the best shooter in metro.”
“What I have been looking forward to this up coming season is be able to go to work with my team to get better and to be able to go to state and make a name for myself.”
“As far as my recruiting, I don’t have any offers right now but I hope at the end on this up coming season I will have some choices of colleges.”
