<p>August 21st-22nd Cedric Cobb Sr and I had the 6th annual <strong>Southwest Basketball Camp</strong> at the Phhacility in Phx, AZ. 120 players from four states came to gain exposure in front of college coaches and scouts plus compete versus some top end players over the two days.</p>

<p>Each player competed in 5 games for the two days plus 60 competed in an extra All-Star Game. (Top-20, Top-40 and a Non-Senior All-Star Game)</p>

<p>A bigger wing is a unique player from Canada. He handles the ball like a point forward and will defend multiple positions with his length and size. He often drive and kicks and will hesitate and change speeds then get by opponents. He can take the ball off the glass and push the pace. He can fall away from mid-range and shoot plus hit the occasional triple. He made the Top-20 game.</p>

<p>A strong point forward who handles the ball well. He just came back after 8 months with a back injury and is slowly working his way into shape. He can take it inside and finish with euros with his handle and strength. He will score on offensive rebound put backs plus shoot perimeter jumpers. He will run floor well and makes good reads to his teammates. He made the Top-40 game.</p>

<p>A versatile combo guard can score it easily but has next level court vision. He can euro move to score in the paint and has big hands to grab the ball in and out his area. He can throw it down on the break and hit the catch three with deep range. His rebounding really stands out but he has the skill and feel to make plays. He made the Top-20 game.</p>

<p>A top end soph point guard has arguably the deepest range in the class with that next level toughness. He can shoot it easily from mid to the three point line and is always in control of the pace of the game. He sees the court and will throw a strike. He is not afraid to get his nose in the paint to rebound and consistently makes winning plays. He made the Top-20 game.</p>

<p>A sharp shooting wing forward. He has a picture perfect stroke and if he is left open, he will knock it down. When you close out he can ball fake and shoot it from mid. He is best off the catch from the three but can also pull-up from mid-range. He made a few impressive passes in traffic and he has had a good off season. </p>

<p>A strong low post power forward is a defensive presence in the paint. He is a good passer for position and will catch passes in traffic and rebound at a high level with his long arms and athleticism. He scores on offensive rebound put backs plus drop steps and right hand hook shots. He made the Top-40 game.</p>

<p>A high IQ shooting guard with good size and skill. He rebounds well for position and moves the ball well as a good teammate. He is a knockdown catch three point shooter and will space the floor for the Knights. </p>

<p>A good sized combo guard is a long and active defensive player. He uses his long arms and moves his feet well on defense. He takes long strides to get to the rim and can score in traffic. He is unselfish to make plays for teammates and plays a smart brand of ball.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1598395' first='David' last='Leszczynski'] Paradise Honors</strong></p>

<p>One of the deeper three point shooters in the camp. He has a good sense of awareness of his teammates. He can throw the lob pass about as well as you can and is quick to collect steals and active on defense to even block a shot or two. He definitely makes his money with his shooting. </p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2134787' first='Levi' last='Tingey'] Mountain View Mesa</strong></p>

<p>A combo guard who played the right way. He can shoot the three point shot off the catch and will hustle for a loose ball. He can make passes up the court looking for an assist and will move the ball. He is definitely a neck up type of guard with skill. </p>
