The new 2024 rankings are out.

We dive into the positional rankings. We move over to the shooting guards for the senior class.

Here are the top-11 SG's in the 2024 class:

[player_tooltip player_id='2092765' first='Carmelo' last='Adkins'] Phhoenix Prep (Pictured)

An athletic scoring guard is a three level scorer. He can rise up from mid-range and shoot it off the catch from the three. He can get hot from distance and has the elite size to get into the paint. He uses his wingspan to play the passing lanes and his on-ball defense stands out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1123040' first='Anthony' last='Batson Jr'] Notre Dame Prep

Easily the most athletic guard in the AIA. He jumps out of the gym with a quick explosion to leap up to rebound or block shots in and out of his area. He is elite in transition and slashes best to the basket. He takes contact well with his strong frame. He verbally committed to Rice.

[player_tooltip player_id='1119253' first='Ben' last='Roseborough'] Bella Vista Prep

A natural scorer from all levels has the strength, good size and skill. He uses his build/frame to get into the paint and will score versus post players. He shoots it easily off the catch or can pull from mid to the three point line and gives hard ball fakes to then burst by.

[player_tooltip player_id='2173990' first='Ahmere' last='Carson'] Skyline Prep

A tough Chicago kid who is skilled and plays with a motor and a chip on his shoulder. The lefty can dunk it easily on the break and is tough to keep out of the lane and getting downhill. He has some shift to his handle with quickness and comes with deep three point range. He is a tough rebounder and competes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1217922' first='Luke' last='Coughran'] Dream City Christian

A 3pt specialist by way of Texas, but is originally from Hawaii. He is a pure shooter with a picture perfect stroke and a quick trigger but his feel is also high. He can do the one-two dribble pull-up from mid-range and makes perfect reads to cutters with good passing skills and timing.

[player_tooltip player_id='856640' first='Darnell' last='Fizer'] Phhoenix Prep

A thicker framed guard can play and defend the 1-3. He plays the game the right way with an unselfish nature. He moves the ball, he can score on post ups, hit the three with more range then last year and is a good passer for a non PG.

[player_tooltip player_id='2092764' first='Chop' last='Paljor'] Phhoenix Prep

An elite sized shooting guard can score it in transition and shoot it from the perimeter. He can also defend using his size to rebound, collect steals with his length. He projects as a 3 and D type with his consistent catch three point shooting. He actually received an offer from Monmouth today.

[player_tooltip player_id='1306025' first='Mason' last='Hunt'] Bradshaw Mountain

A bigger sized scoring guard is a versatile player. He scores it from inside and out with his sturdy frame and skill. He can fall away in the post, score on put backs and pull-ups from mid. He can hit the catch three and has a lot on his plate to rebound, defend nearly everyone on the court and make plays.

[player_tooltip player_id='1275052' first='Noah' last='Sowunmi'] North Canyon

Another jack of all trades shooting guard. He plays the 1-3 well and is very good on the ball to make plays for his teammates. He is an above the rim athlete who is best getting downhill and scoring in heavy traffic using his gifts. He will defend many positions and is a team player. He transfers over to North Canyon to try and make a deep playoff run.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450963' first='Dylan' last='Jay'] Phhoenix Prep

A sniper has a picture perfect stroke. He comes with some size and pretty touch from beyond the three point line. He loves both corners and gets the ball out of his hands quickly. He smartly moves without the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='1135515' first='Noah' last='Gifft'] Ironwood

A sturdy framed scoring guard is the Eagles main weapon this year. He can score it from all three levels with catch threes with his flawless ball rotation, pull-ups off the dribble from mid-range and can dribble drive to the rim. His calming leadership, skill and IQ will go a long way all season.
