He can rise up from mid-range and shoot it off the catch from the three. He can get hot from distance and has the elite size to get into the paint. He uses his wingspan to play the passing lanes and his on-ball defense stands out. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1123040' first='Anthony' last='Batson Jr'] <strong>Notre Dame Prep</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Easily the most athletic guard in the AIA. He jumps out of the gym with a quick explosion to leap up to rebound or block shots in and out of his area. He is elite in transition and slashes best to the basket. He takes contact well with his strong frame. He uses his build/frame to get into the paint and will score versus post players. He shoots it easily off the catch or can pull from mid to the three point line and gives hard ball fakes to then burst by.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2173990' first='Ahmere' last='Carson'] <strong>Skyline Prep</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A tough Chicago kid who is skilled and plays with a motor and a chip on his shoulder. The lefty can dunk it easily on the break and is tough to keep out of the lane and getting downhill. He has some shift to his handle with quickness and comes with deep three point range. He is a pure shooter with a picture perfect stroke and a quick trigger but his feel is also high. He plays the game the right way with an unselfish nature. He can also defend using his size to rebound, collect steals with his length. He projects as a 3 and D type with his consistent catch three point shooting. He scores it from inside and out with his sturdy frame and skill. He can fall away in the post, score on put backs and pull-ups from mid. He can hit the catch three and has a lot on his plate to rebound, defend nearly everyone on the court and make plays. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1275052' first='Noah' last='Sowunmi'] <strong>North Canyon </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another jack of all trades shooting guard. He plays the 1-3 well and is very good on the ball to make plays for his teammates. He is an above the rim athlete who is best getting downhill and scoring in heavy traffic using his gifts. He will defend many positions and is a team player. He comes with some size and pretty touch from beyond the three point line. He loves both corners and gets the ball out of his hands quickly. He can score it from all three levels with catch threes with his flawless ball rotation, pull-ups off the dribble from mid-range and can dribble drive to the rim.
