Nitzel is the most unknown player on this list, but has been a constant force for this University team since his sophomore season. Now he’s finishing up his Senior season by being a complementary piece on a team that has aspirations of bringing home the trophy. In the meantime, he’s so close to breaking 1000 points scored in his career. Nitzel is putting together a solid year where it looks like it’s within reach, but he will have to stay on the pace that he’s on right now. He’s sitting at 849 points in his career and is averaging 15.9 points a game. He should hit this mark by the end of the season with his eyes sight on bigger things as well. Have to tip your hat to him.
