Maumee Valley Country Day had a dominant offensive effort that was led by Price. His physical dominance over a smaller Norwayne squad was evident as there were multiple buckets there Price was simply too big and too strong for the opposition. I loved how quickly Maumee Valley Country Day got the ball up the court, Price had multiple breakaway layups off made baskets by Norwayne. Also knocking down a couple of 3-pointers Vs the zone, Price shot the ball with confidence. Maumee Valley Country Day has a good team this season but with their whole team projected to return but one senior, they will be even tougher next season.

The second part of Maumee Valley’s guard duo in the class of 2027, Price has the physical tools and length to impact the game on the defensive end of the court. A leap in that part of the game could allow Price to jump even higher in our rankings because he also has the ability to get hot from the outside as a shooter. In a season opening blowout win over Toledo Scott Price had 17 points, 8 rebounds and a breakaway dunk. Look out for Maumee Valley Country Day this winter in Division VI.

Price is a scoring guard with great size and athleticism, and he looks the part of someone who will be a solid player at the next level. He’s strong attacking the rim and has the tools to put pressure on defenses every possession. With his frame and ability, he’s a matchup problem and someone I expect to make an impact at the event and his junior year.

Price came back from a summer injury and hit the ground running at multiple showcase events in the fall where he showed his improved physicality and shot-making ability. On a young Maumee Valley Country Day squad that won a district title, Price got valuable experience playing with the ball in his hands and was productive as a scorer and rebounder. Name to know in the Toledo area who will be playing with Nova Village this grassroots season.

Price is a well built in-between guard who showed great offensive versatility in their win over Emmanuel Christian (OH). He did a great job scoring on the interior taking high percentage shots and had great touch. He was also able to make the most of 2nd chance points. He showed he could space the floor with 3 three pointers. He had a game high 25 points with 15 coming in the 2nd half. He is someone who is only just starting to blossom as a prospect.

Price is someone who passes the eye test and is expected to step into a big role at his new school this year. He will be a player that Maumee Valley leans onto as a sophomore. He is a great slasher and defender. He uses contact and dictates contact well. He gets to his spot super well and has a good touch around the rim. I like how he hoops and the energy he plays with.

Another guard who went to our fall freshman showcase and stood out, Price can do a variety of things on both ends of the court. Good size for a wing guard and a quick first step, Price is tough to stop on drives to the basket. A guard who can knock down perimeter shots as well, Price can score it multiple ways. Expect Price to be a name we continue to hear about as Maumee Valley Country Day has a very talented 2027 class.
