Prospect Spotlight: Zach Toussaint (2019)
Johnsburg 2019 point guard Zach Toussaint is a kid that we have referred to as the “Baby Faced Assassin”. He is a flashy point guard that plays with a ton of flair. Like how he pushes it and dishes the rock. Puts others in position to succeed. This lead guard can also shoot it from really deep pulling up. Plus leadership skills. He has gotten stronger in the last year.
How did it go with Kessel Heat 16U in June?
“It is going pretty good. The best part about it is every team that plays us sees that we are all under 6’2” and they think they are going to kill us and we end up winning by 20 every game. It is great to see the faces of the other team. I think I am playing well. I just need to improve on defense and being stronger with the ball.”\
He spoke about the growth in his game and what his strongest areas are.
“I have improved attacking the basket and in the drive and kick. Strengths right now are shooting and finding open teammates.”

The guard spoke about his role on the team next year.
“We are returning all seniors so I have to be a good leader and make the good plays and right decisions. Shoot it when I am open.”
