SSA went 5-1 and headed back to South Dakota with a 2nd-Place finish. Squires is a physical defender that plays hard 100% of the time. Dom shot well all tournament and he got to the rim for scores. He was also good at penetrating and kicking out to shooters. Fairbanks showed his playmaking ability in the PNR game and did a nice job as an undersized defender. Tietz was a stat stuffer, on Saturday afternoon he went for 34 points, 4 assists, and 8 triples. He looked to be a tough matchup with his size and mobility. Delorme showed off his athleticism with an impressive SLAM.
