About Bryce
Expert Analysis
Eric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
Giles is one of the more unique prospects in the class, and while his long term future may ultimately be on the football field, his basketball ability is undeniable. An undersized forward, he combines strength, toughness, and a high basketball IQ to consistently impact winning. Giles has the skill set to facilitate offense from the frontcourt, handling the ball comfortably, making plays for teammates, and serving as a secondary initiator. He sees the floor well, makes smart decisions, and understands how to create advantages within the flow of the offense. He is also a capable perimeter shooter who can step out and knock down open three-pointers, forcing defenders to respect him away from the basket. Despite giving up size in the frontcourt, Giles rebounds his area effectively, competes on every possession, and plays with a physical edge.

Bryce was the second leading scorer in the division, averaging 25.3 PPG while consistently producing at a high level. At 6’4”/6’5”, he plays much bigger than his size and brings a strong, physical presence on the floor. Uses his wide, powerful frame to finish around the basket and consistently overpowers defenders, even against taller matchups. Built like a football player, he bullies his way to the rim through contact and creates steady production in the paint. Strong low-post scorer who rebounds the ball with force and competes with toughness on every possession.
Also showed advanced passing ability and a good feel for the game, making plays for teammates when defenses collapsed. Solid agility for his size and a competitive edge that stands out. Overall, a tough, versatile guard/wing who impacts the game in multiple ways and continues to trend as a strong Division I or 2 prospect.

Giles is a hard playing, strong, and highly productive forward who consistently impacts the game with his physicality and motor. He does most of his damage inside the arc, where he finishes efficiently and rebounds at a high rate, but also shows the ability to step out and knock down open perimeter jumpers. The Region Player of the Year, he averaged nearly 20 points and over 8 rebounds per game this season, highlighting his consistent production. Giles will look to carry that momentum into the spring with Hill City Clash.

Bryce controlled the whole floor as a guard in a big-man’s body. Bryce came down with all defensive rebounds and pushed the ball up the floor to ignite the break. His offensive production was impressive, Bryce was getting by his defender and finishing at the basket all game long. When the defenders closed in, he was able to slow things down and get to a short shot in the midrange. Found his shooters along the perimeter consistently while putting up big scoring numbers for VABA Bruins . Bryce was one of my new favorite finds this weekend at Big Shots, his game is the total package and he still has a couple more years to bolster his stock.
