Johnson continues to trend upward and appears poised for another significant jump in our next rankings update. A strong, athletic, high motor forward, he consistently impacts winning with his physicality, effort, and production. Johnson thrives around the basket, where he finishes everything around the rim and plays through contact. He is a relentless rebounder who attacks the glass on both ends of the floor, creating extra possessions and setting the tone with his toughness and energy. While his work around the rim remains his greatest strength, he has also shown the skill to step away from the basket and knock down open jumpers out to the three point line, adding valuable versatility to his game. Defensively, his strength, athleticism, and competitiveness allow him to guard multiple frontcourt positions and play with consistent intensity. Johnson will once again be counted on to lead a talented [program_tooltip program_id='3424568' first='Team' last='Loaded Gold'] squad during the July evaluation periods.     Mitchell is a talented left handed forward who combines strength, skill, and toughness to consistently produce in the frontcourt. Most effective from 15 feet and in, he possesses an offensive game that allows him to score in a variety of ways. Mitchell is comfortable playing with his back to the basket, where he uses his strength, footwork, and touch to create high percentage scoring opportunities. He has soft hands and excellent touch around the rim, finishing effectively through contact and in traffic. In addition to his interior scoring, Mitchell is a capable midrange shot maker who can face up and knock down jumpers, adding another dimension to his offensive arsenal. An above average athlete, he rebounds well, competes on every possession, and consistently brings a strong effort level to both ends of the floor.     Giles is one of the more unique prospects in the class, and while his long term future may ultimately be on the football field, his basketball ability is undeniable. An undersized forward, he combines strength, toughness, and a high basketball IQ to consistently impact winning. Giles has the skill set to facilitate offense from the frontcourt, handling the ball comfortably, making plays for teammates, and serving as a secondary initiator. He sees the floor well, makes smart decisions, and understands how to create advantages within the flow of the offense. He is also a capable perimeter shooter who can step out and knock down open three-pointers, forcing defenders to respect him away from the basket. Despite giving up size in the frontcourt, Giles rebounds his area effectively, competes on every possession, and plays with a physical edge.     Martin is off to an impressive start in the Capitol Hoops Summer League, recording a double-double in a victory last week while showcasing the skill and physicality that make him an effective frontcourt presence. A strong, fundamentally sound post player, he has a high basketball IQ and consistently plays within his strengths. Martin has good hands and polished footwork on the block, allowing him to establish position and score efficiently around the basket. He is comfortable operating with his back to the rim and has the touch to finish through contact in the paint. Beyond his scoring ability, Martin makes a significant impact on the glass, rebounding aggressively at both ends of the floor.     Rose is a hard playing, productive big man who consistently impacts the game with his toughness, motor, and activity level. Most effective in the paint, he uses good footwork, strong positioning, and touch around the basket to score efficiently in the half court. Rose embraces physical play and does a good job finishing around the rim while creating second-chance opportunities. He is a productive rebounder on both ends of the floor, attacking the glass with energy and determination. Defensively, Rose is active and engaged, using his above average mobility and athleticism to protect the paint, contest shots, and hold his own in a variety of matchups.
