Thompson has absolutely blown up. Really, both on the basketball court and on the football field. He’s at a different level with his strength, power and athleticism. Thompson showed all of those at the Summer Challenge. He showed that he could play outside-in as well as inside-out. Thompson finished whenever he was near the rim and he did it with both power and finesse.

Xavier Haynes
Xavier Haynes
Haynes showed that he could be a really effective and very versatile forward. He could be a 3 technically, but he really was at his best working around the rim. Haynes was light on his feet and bouncy under the rim. He was able to pick up second chance buckets as well as finish through contact and finish the and 1.
Rogoz may not be the classic definition of a post player, but the young man flat out gets it done. When a shot went up, he looked for a body. Rogoz rebounded with positioning, overall strength and powerful hands. He was really effective with his outlet passes, getting them off quick and accurate.

Evan Jozsa
Evan Jozsa
Jozsa was easily one of the most effective post players I saw in the gym at the Summer Challenge. He put up some big numbers and did it in an old school post player manner. Jozsa physically dominated the lane and the glass. He earned good looks at the rim with good positioning. Jozsa easily played his way into a prospect ranking at the next update.
Turner actually probably projects to the next level as a wing, but the young man can still dominate under the rim. He’s a very underrated all around athlete that can get up off the ground in impressive fashion. Turner had 2 games at the Summer Challenge with double digit rebounds and he set a program record for blocks in a game.
Joe Pullum
Joe Pullum
Pullum was an athletic post player. He could defend effectively the entire length of the floor and did a nice job stepping in passing lanes. Pullum was it his best offensively when working facing the rim, often times with quick steps from mid range. He was a solid finisher at the rim and had the ability to rebound over top.
