Being from Texas this is my first time at any California tournament, and how lucky can I be to some not only one of the most respected AAU organizations, but what California have to offer. On night one they did not disappoint.
Talk about springs in your legs. That is exactly what Martin has in his legs. The best part is he uses them in the help side at the defensive end. He is ball hunting in the air waiting to smack the ball the length of two basketball courts. High motor with the athleticism to add to it. When the people are impressed at your block even when you goaltend; shows the effort he plays with.

The lengthy guard is crafty as you can get so unexpected. Perfectly timing his spin off the defender for an easy two points. Also knows when to use his strength bumping interior defenders. Nice spot up shooter as well. When he adds more muscle to him he can turn into a problem.
Anderson played his first 17u game on opening night and looked cozy on the hardwood. He sped the temp up kicking it up the court, and pushing the tempo with the ball. The efficient player is extremely patient in letting the setup. Made two bounce passes right where he needed to be.

Osbourne fits in well with DreamVision 3ssb. He adds more length to the perimeter on the defensive end. The athletic wing that likes to attack the rim. Have a soft touch on his mid-range pull-up. Doesn’t force a play to happen but lets it come in rhythm. Also passes the ball up the floor for fast-break opportunities.
The explosive guard caught my eye with how he finished at the right. He uses his strength to create angles to the rim and craftiness below the rim. A good amount of meat on his bones to handle contact. Sprints in transition turning a half-court possession into a fast break. Knows how to score from the baseline. Dynamic guard that is fun to watch.
