Palmetto State : 2017 Unsigned Seniors

Damon McDowell – Carolina Forest HS
McDowell 6’2 didn’t play a full season for the Panthers after being dismissed from the squad. McDowell a left-handed shooting guard looks to be playing with Flight 22 Select this July period.
Darius Copeland – North Augusta HS
Copeland made the Yellow Jackets offense go. Copeland 6’3 averaged 12.5 ppg and 7.1 rebounds this season. The Yellow Jackets lost in the 2nd Round of the Playoffs to Ridge View HS. Copeland is a academic qualifier according to Yellow Jackets Head Coach Tony Harrell.
Terrance Barnes – Westwood HS
Barnes 6’5 small forward will run with All or Nothing AAU this July. Barnes works on both sides of the floor and can handle the rock at times.
Savion Townsend – Lower Richland HS
Townsend a off guard helped the Diamond Hornets win a 4A State Championship this past March. Townsend will join Barnes on All or Nothing AAU. Townsend averaged 6.5 ppg this season.
Kendrick Holloman – Lee Central HS (Bishopville)
Holloman 6’3 small forward has a old school type of game. Holloman left-handed averaged 17 ppg this season for the Stallions. Holloman scored just under 1,000 career points. Holloman won’t overwhelm you with athleticism.
Jaquan Felton – Marion HS
Felton a All-State Performer for the Swamp Foxes averaged 17 ppg and 4.6 rebounds this season. Felton was Region 7 2A-Player of the Year.
Kenny Jones – Garrett Academy (North Charleston)
Jones a combo guard is still looking for a school this fall. Jones will more than likely need junior college. Jones plays AAU with the Charleston Playmakers. Jones can score the ball in bunches at times.
Jamal Stevens – Strom Thurmond HS (Johnston)
Stevens 5’10 undersized guard seems to be more comfortable off the ball. Stevens averaged 16.2 ppg for the Rebels this season. Stevens will need junior college.
Aaron Rivers – Timmonsville HS (pictured on front)
Rivers averaged 18.1 ppg and 11 rebounds this season for the Whirlwinds. Rivers is athletic 6’4 undersized post that tends to play better around the cup than out on the perimeter. Rivers will need to entertain junior college options.
Malik Cokley – Laurence Manning Academy (Manning)
Cokley 6’0 lefthanded guard really excels in a up-tempo style of play. Cokley averaged 9.6 ppg and 3.7 assists for the Swamp Cats. Cokley will need to entertain junior college has family ties in the New York State area.
Johama Tisdale – CE Murray HS (Greeleyville)
Tisdale 5’10 left-handed guard was named Region Player of the Year after averaging 17.3 ppg and 3.8 assists this season for the War Eagles. Tisdale a point guard also had 4 interceptions as a defensive back on the football field for the War Eagles.
