Rising 2025’s At NorCal Spring Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>PH NorCal was at the Nor Cal Spring Showcase Saturday May 13, at Chabot College in Hayward, CA. 40 plus teams from the area participated, with 3 levels, 15, 16, 17. We covered the teams we hadn't seen this spring. He has a versatile skill set that allows him to be effective in different areas on the court. He ran the point with good handling and penetration, he found ways to score on the wings and in transition. He uses his length to score in the paint. At this event the lengthy Iguodala used his long strides and reach to sprint the court for a couple of chase down blocks. He has good bounce, and alertness using his length to change and block shots. He's an excellent passer with vision. His perimeter game is progressing. Standing 6'5 at the 16u level he's productive around the basket, getting his points and rebounds. He's more of a wing type player who gets things done in the open court, and transition. He can get his own shot, make good passes, and runs the court to finish in transition. He gives maximum effort on the court. He doesn't seem to tire. He's a good ball mover, not a lot of wasted dribble. He has the handles, and body to deal with the contact on the drive. He's a solid body guard with the ability to play through contact. He takes it strong into the paint, right at the front of the rim. If he gets a good look he'll put up 3-pointers, he dropped a few from the top and on the wings. He can be a contributor. He can score the ball using a good set of handles to get into the paint for different finishes including reverses, coming fearlessly to challenge bigs. His points comes from working the boards for put backs. He's a guard with good ball handling who can punish you going to the basket. He handles ball pressure, using his thick body and handles to bring the ball up court.
