Let's take one last look at the top-ranked player at each of the six positions.

PG - [player_tooltip player_id='1378390' first='Grant' last='Stubblefield'], 6-foot-2 guard, Blue Valley Northwest:

The Nebraska-Omaha commit went out on about the highest high note you could hit. His three-game run at 6A state: 27 points against Shawnee Mission Northwest, 28 against Blue Valley North, 22 against Wichita Heights. He was the leading scorer across all classes in the 2023 tournament. Stubblefield is a winner and a bulldog competitor.

CG - [player_tooltip player_id='1080170' first='Kobe' last='Smith'], 6-foot-1 guard, Andover Central:

The 1,000 point scorer was the leader of a 19-5 Andover Central that came a whisker away from the 5A state tournament. He was one of the best scorers from the guard spot in the state, averaging 20 points per game for his junior and senior seasons.

SG - [player_tooltip player_id='1080189' first='Eli' last='Shetlar'], 6-foot-5 guard, Andover:

The versatile wing finished his career on the podium, helping lead the Trojans to a title. The Indiana State commit developed a reputation as one of the purest shooters in the state over the past few years, hitting a ridiculous 48% from behind the arc and 96% from the free throw line as a senior.

SF - [player_tooltip player_id='1300865' first='Ketraleus' last='Aldridge'], 6-foot-4 forward, Highland Park:

Aldridge had a bit of a roller-coaster ride over his high school career, but there was no questioning his physical talents. The rim running high riser could electrify a gym like just about no one else in the state. But he's far more than just an athlete. He's got some great all-around skills: 21 points, 7 boards, 4.5 assists and 40% from deep. He led Highland Park to a third place finish, with only a heartbreaking loss to Andover thwarting the Scots push for a state championship.

PF - [player_tooltip player_id='1080159' first='Will' last='Anciaux'], 6-foot-6 forward, Kapaun Mt. Carmel:

It wasn't that long ago Anciaux was ranked the top basketball player in the state. That was before he blew up on the football scene and committed to Kansas State. There was no guarantee he would play his senior season, but he returned to lead the Crusaders to the state tournament with 14.5 points and 7.5 boards. He averaged 12 points per game in the run to second-place in 5A.

C - [player_tooltip player_id='1080174' first='Jack' last='Wilson'], 6-foot-6 center, Manhattan (pictured):

Wilson finished off his stellar high school career by leading the Indians back to state, where only a heartbreaking overtime loss to Blue Valley North prevented them from moving on. Wilson went down fighting, scoring nearly a third of Manhattan's points in the game. The Doane University commit was productive in the post, but was also always a threat to step out and knock down 3-pointers, shooting at a 47% clip from deep as a senior. He averaged 14 points and 5.5 boards in his final campaign.
