The 2026 class may have only played one season of varsity basketball, but they're loaded with potential. The Hoop Group Spring Jam Fest was the last live period in April and the rising sophomore class did not disappoint. Here are the top stock risers in the 2026 class from the Hoop Group Spring Jam Fest.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595682' first='Jayden' last='Holman'], 5'11 PG Arts

Holman was playing up in the 17U division, but that did not stop him from making plays all weekend. The 5'11 lefty used his handle effectively as he was able to blow by his defender and finish at the rim. Holman was able to get to his spot on the floor throughout the day and rose up nicely on his jumper. He used his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end and pushed the pace nicely in transition. Holman is just starting to scratch the surface of his potential and will be one to watch over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595666' first='Ethan' last='Mgbako'], 6'5 F Roselle Catholic

Mgbako had a strong weekend for the 15U NJ Scholars as he helped them take home the 15U platinum title. The 6'5 forward has a nice touch around the basket and is able to finish through contact in the paint. Mgbako has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and knocked down open jumpers on the perimeter. He fought for rebounds on both ends of the floor and held his ground on the defensive end. Mgbako's ability to score inside and out is something that will help his stock rise this spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1919210' first='Mikah' last='Hart'], 5'11 PG Kingsway

Hart made plays for Philly Pride National over the weekend as he was all over the place for them. The 5'11 guard was a blur in the open floor and used his quick first step to blow by his defender. Hart played with good court vision as he was able to find his open teammates in the half court. He used his quick hands to generate turnovers and showed the ability to play off the ball as well. Hart is a dynamic lead guard prospect whose stock will continue to rise if he keeps up his strong play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1788762' first='Will' last='Spross'], 5'11 PG St. Joseph (Hammonton)

Spross made big plays for 15U Shoreshots Rio UAA as he helped them reach the 15U platinum title game. The 5'11 guard wasted little motion in his jumper and shot the ball with confidence. Spross rarely forced the issue and played under control throughout the weekend. He moved well without the ball in his hands and finished nicely around the basket. Spross' decision-making is something that will help his stock in a big way this spring and summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595667' first='Will' last='Higgs'], 6'10 C CBA

Higgs had a solid performance for the 15U Philly Pride National team as he showed the potential to impact the game in a number of ways. The 6'10 post finished nicely around the basket and was able to get position down low. Higgs ripped down rebounds on both ends of the floor and used his length to influence shots on the defensive end. He showed off his range as he knocked down an open jumper on the perimeter. Higgs' stock should only rise if he continues to show the ability to score inside and out.
