The second live evaluation period is officially in the books. For Division II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior College coaches the spring and summer grind is really just beginning. However, Division I coaches won't be back on the recruiting trail until the middle of June. Let's take a look back at the two events I covered, the Grassroots Showcase and Midwest Jam Fest, as well as other events from around the country featuring Indiana prospects, and highlight eight stock-risers from the weekend.

Douglas has had a breakout spring playing on the Adidas Gold circuit with Indiana Elite Team Tradition 2025. He is a super versatile wing at 6'4u0022 with a good blend of size, strength, and athleticism. His driving ability is excellent and he rebounds the ball at a high level for his size. You can catch him this coming weekend at the Run 'N Slam.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1158226"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Flannigan played with 94 Feet Elite 2024 this weekend at the Grassroots Showcase in Louisville and put up an impressive 20.8 points per game. The dynamic 5'10u0022 point guard is a very strong driver, can get to the basket going either direction, and finishes in a variety of creative ways. He makes defenders bounce off him on his way to the rim and showed off a solid jump shot out to three-point range as well.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1297011"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Howard has long been a favorite under-the-radar name in the Class of 2025 for us at Prep Hoops Indiana. He is a shifty, talented guard that can shoot it from beyond the arc and create for himself off of the dribble. Playing with a very good Progeny 2025 group, Howard has started to make a name for himself this spring with his strong play.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1172872"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Playing with EG10 2024 has taken him all over the country in the two live evaluation periods. This weekend down in Texas at Adidas Gold Chapter II saw Lomax average 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. He is a 6'3u0022 athletic guard that can really score the basketball and flashed some improved overall playmaking skill during this past live period. Will be one to watch as we get into the summer months.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1364589"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"After putting up a big sophomore season that culminated in a Class 2A state championship with Blackhawk Christian it seemed inevitable that this 6'8u0022 forward would start to land scholarship offers. Center Florida became the first to pull the trigger on Monday, May 1st after a strong showing at EYBL Session II in Phoenix. Pickett averaged 11 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Most impressive, he was 5-11 from three-point range. If he can continue to do that expect more high-major offers to come his way sooner rather than later.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["1275012"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"When talking about the biggest stock-risers from the spring in general, Walston would certainly be towards the top of that list as it pertains to the Class of 2024 in Indiana. There are few players with the versatility of this 6'6u0022 wing. Walston can initiate offense as a ball-handler and passer, attack closeouts off of the dribble, and use his size to finish around the rim. He has a very high ceiling as a two-way prospect that can guard multiple positions and fill any spot in an offense.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["1158204"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"Don't forget about this defending 33-0 state champion just because he doesn't play on an Indiana-based. Windham has shot the lights on the EYBL Circuit for Meanstreets. He started the weekend off going 5-10 from three-point range in a win over JL3. Overall, the 6'2u0022 left-handed shooter is averaging 8 points per game while shooting 11-20 from beyond the arc. College coaches will continue to be involved heavily with him as we get into the June and July live periods.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_7_player":["1293375"],"_player_evaluations_7_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"Total Package Elite 2024 went 5-0 and won the April Classic in Fort Wayne this weekend. Young Jr. was a big part of that success as he turned in a couple of double-doubles and showcased his two-way versatility on a consistent basis. At 6'5u0022 with plus length, Young Jr. rebounds his position at a very high level and can elevate above the defense to score at the end of his drives. He is a smooth jump shooter as well. One for college programs to check-in on at the Run 'N Slam this coming weekend.","_player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":8,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-645116e975f2a"} /-->
