(Downers Grove North – 2024) Breakaway
Already known as a shooter, Stanton was able to show he could handle pressure as the main ball handler this spring and at the end of the season. Jack did an excellent job at facilitating the rock to his teammates. Jack also looked good scoring off screens sets where he knocks down threes with defenders desperately fighting through picks. I’m sure some low major plus schools will be interested in Stanton.
Je’shawn Stevenson (Lindblom – 2024) Meanstreets EYBL
One of the quickly rising slashers in this ’24 class. Stevenson does a good job at applying pressure on defenses by getting to the rack often using athletic finishes that end up with a bucket or him going to the free-throw line. Je’shawn isn’t limited to just attacks he is capable of scoring from mid-range and from three. Mid majors prospect with his size and activity. Will make a big jump in our next update.

Maybe the best scoring point guard in the state for the ’24 class. Brown is rather surgical when attacking defenders. He sets guys up for moves each time when he’s in one on one situations. What I like the most about Dekwon is his ability to get others involved setting his teammates up throughout the game. During June live periods I can see multiple schools getting involved.
Jacob Rice

Jacob is a bigger guard who can get his shot off whenever he wants. He doesn’t miss much when he gets his feet set. Rice is solid with getting to the rim off three or less dribble moves. On defense he is able to cover multiple positions and is very capable of rebounding on both sides of the ball. A still improving prospect should get some D1 looks.
Jason Jakstys

At 6’11 the very wiry post has shown some major improvements to his game since the finish of his high school season. Jason showcased why he is a college ready rim protector that is becoming one of the better rebounders in the state. He displays good lateral movement against quicker players while also challenging much strong players at the rim. Jakstys is very good offensively showing nice moves around the rim and versatility to make plays on the perimeter. Jason is proving to be a mid-major plus talent with room to go higher.
CJ Worsham (Christ the King – 2024) DB Pro
Another surprising player that has gained a lot of praise the last few months. CJ is a legit 6’7 versatile player. He can hit the three but also get to the rim off a straight lined two dribble moves. Worsham is a poised back to the basket player who uses force inside to score through contact. He does a good job on the boards and is a double double waiting to happen whenever he’s on the court. As of now he’s a low-major to mid-major player who can help a college program.
Justus McNair

(Joliet West – 2024) Team Y&R
McNair a highly talented guard who gets downhill and causes problems for defenses. He has stepped up big against top competition. What has not gone unnoticed is his ability to be effective on the offensive boards against much taller defenders. McNair is a fast rising mid major prospect.
Jakob Blakley

(Larkin – 2024) Fundamental U
Jacob does a good job of mixing his points off attacks. He works early on distributing the ball within the offense. Blakley then can show you how poised he is against full court pressure scoring from all three levels. He is a guard that can sneak on to a low D1 but has shown he is a D2 caliber college guard.
EJ Mosley
EJ
Mosley

(St. Laurence – 2025) Team Y&R
Mosley is a shifty guard who has proved to be one of the better mid-range shooters in the state. EJ has a change of pace to his games that keeps defenders on their heels. He plays well of ball screens and is able to make difficult passes while under pressure.
Gabriel Sularski

(Benet – 2025) Meanstreets EYBL
Quickly becoming one of my favorite players to watch because of how much he does on the court and makes it look effortless. Gabriel is skilled with a high IQ that he uses well. He has college range shooting as a freshman with the ability to make plays at the rim and for teammates. He gets lost in the conversation with some of the others in the ’26 class but he will become one of the better players.
Tavariyuan Williams

An explosive wing who can definitely play both sides of the ball. Williams uses his length and athleticism to disrupt passes and turns them into points. Plays above the rim for dunks. Tavariyuan is a legit mid major prospect who has shown the ability to shoot and beat guys off the dribble. Will have many schools on him by June.
