Diallo is a mobile forward with impressive athleticism who thrived in transition and around the rim. He consistently finished at a high level, using his bounce and body control to convert tough shots in traffic. His ability to run the floor and make plays above the rim stood out throughout the game. Defensively, his mobility allowed him to switch onto smaller players and contest shots effectively.

Diallo made an impact with Jelly Fam in the OTE league during the winter after moving up from North Carolina, and looked ready to hit the ground running with his new grassroots squad if his debut with the Lightning was any indication. An active and athletic hybrid big known for his defensive prowess, Diallo was a consistent presence near the rim with his length, apparent added strength and tough-nosed approach. He also impressed in showing a gradually expanded offensive arsenal, not just finishing effectively inside but also showing comfort handling and making decisions away from the rim, especially in the high-low game. With defensive-minded bigs being a scarce commodity, expect Diallo to pick up plenty of buzz on the recruiting trail over the course of his debut EYBL campaign.

Diallo remains a persistent force in the 2026 rankings as he moves into 19th in the latest rankings market corrections. He was a double-double machine in the Jelly Fam frontcourt on the OTE stage, finishing with 10.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per contest and seven double-doubles this past season. He’s a forward who flies around on both ends making things happen. DI programs would be wise to get him on their radar. He’ll be one to watch on the EYBL stage this spring/summer with the New York Lightning.

Diallo is a highlight reel forward waiting to happen who’s been making his mark this spring/summer with Team Loaded VA on the 3SSB stage. He’s slowly found his confidence attacking the rim and showing off his fearlessness getting to the irm and finishing with authority as he ranks as the No. 2 power forward in the class. He’s a name out of Combine Academy on the OTE stage to keep an eye on this week in the 2026 class.

is an emerging athletic forward to keep an eye on after developing in the Team Curry frontcourt this past grassroots cycle. He’ll be a name to keep an eye on this season on the OTE stage with Combine Academy following a productive grassroots campaign as a rim-runner and protector in the painted area. He’s been playing organized basketball for just a short time so far, but as he continues to learn to play the right way, he’s a prospect with tremendous upside to keep an eye on in the 2026 class.

Diallo has been someone I’ve had a watchful eye on since last fall since I saw him, and think he is by far the most explosive and gifted athlete in his class. He’s definitely beyond raw on the offensive end, still figuring out his post moves and slashing aside from being just a rim runner and dunking the ball. However, that athleticism and his 7 foot wingspan makes him a nightmare on defense. He stays in front of 1-5, is almost impossible to score on directly at the rim, and can jump with anyone. It’s all about getting it to come together for him, and when it does, especially on offense, he will be a coveted piece for all schools. He had a good showing this weekend, doing what was asked and not too much more. Protecting the rim, scoring in transition and down low, and rebounding well were all key aspects of his game. I can’t wait to see him finally take the leap as he gets better every day.
