The high school season gave us an opportunity to go out and see a ton of prospects. There are some that are still unsigned, just waiting for the opportunity for the right school. In this article, a follow-up to Unsigned Seniors Part 1 we take a look at some more unsigned seniors.
Jaeck could be a nice fit for a school seeking interior depth. He has good size, as well as athleticism, as he has shown the ability to improve his outside game, handling and shooting on the perimeter. He carrys a 3.0 plus GPA which should open him up to other scholarship opportunities.
Much like Jaeck, Riley has size and athleticism. He can be explosive at times, getting off the floor quick and high. His offense is coming around, however he already has the timing and instincts to help a team as a rim protector.
Burney is a intriguing player. He was highly productive as a high school player, and has a good offensive combination of shooting, and handles. He also has the Type A personality that a lot of successful floor generals have. He’s had interest from JC’s D3’s and D2’s at this point in his recruitment.
Highlights
The Meadows sniper had an accomplished small school career, a state title and POY award. His skill level is solid, however it’s his tougness, and moxie that seperate him from other players. Wouldn’t be suprised if he finds his way on the floor at a high academic university.
Jackson is a sleeper big, that is raw, but has some upside. He can protect the rim, and is able to make shots out to about 10 feet. He’s a project big that could develop into a productive interior player.
Casini is a player that got on the radar after a strong State Championship performance. High academic, athletic bigs are a theme, and the 6’6, high flyer from Incline is an intriguing one. He’s currenlty receiving some D3 interest.
Mcdowell is a long wiry athlete, that is flying under the radar. He only played 8 games for the Rattlers last season, however he’s a difference maker on the defensive end, and with his athleticism, which allows him to finish plays in transition. Currently receiving some JC intrest.
