<p><strong>New Trier Senior Inside/Outside Combo Does Damage</strong></p>

<p>It was all about the seniors for New Trier. Cornell commit [player_tooltip player_id='1215287' first='Jake' last='Fiegen'] does what he always does. Knocks in threes in bunches including a couple around ball screens along with an NBA range pull up. Mixed in some tough finishes around the hoop and put the exclamation point on it with a steal and transition dunk netting 22 points. Inside Williams College commit [player_tooltip player_id='1048311' first='Tyler' last='Van Gorp'] was very good on the glass controlling the boards throughout the game finishing with 6 points and 10 rebounds. Got a couple of put backs and finished dump off passes.</p>

<p><strong>Without Irby Another 2025 Shows Promise for Niles North</strong></p>

<p>Niles North was without their star player [player_tooltip player_id='1385296' first='Yaris' last='Irby'] and it showed. One player who stepped up though was [player_tooltip player_id='2105191' first='Hunter' last='Gawron']. Liked what we saw out of the 6'5” power forward in the 2025 class. Mobile four man that has good length and touch on a mid-range jumper. Showed a jump hook and finished out of the dunker spot for 8 points.</p>

<p><strong>Rematch Next Week?</strong></p>

<p>It is definitely not out of the realm of possibility that these two could matchup in a week and a half for a regional championship. New Trier comes in as the top seed and host in their sectional. The regional title game against potentially Niles North would happen at Niles North however next Friday. A lot will depend on if Irby is back if they can get a different result.</p>
