Every week somebody steps ahead by a tiny bit and the past seven days it was Nolan. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='962218' first='Nasir' last='Whitlock'] of DeLaSalle. Scored 34 points in a 16 point win over Brooklyn Center and had 23 against Bloomington Kennedy in a win. Islanders are on a nice win streak although the competition has been down compared to some of his fellow favorites. Has a big game against rival CDH and a huge contest with Wayzata in a couple weeks.</p>

Had 35 in a blowout against Southwest Christian and then back to back 16 point games in less than 16 minutes in blowouts over Hutch and Providence Academy. Competition has also been down recently for the Fire. Huge road games right around the corner with Maranatha and Delano though. </p>
