There was a lot of movement in the Top 100 as we continue to solidify our evaluations on these young prospects. Additionally, the Watch List continued to grow to over 150 additional names that deserve recognition in the current sophomore class. Now our staff will continue pumping out content all week long as we highlight this very strong class of talent. Let’s begin with taking a look at six of the biggest stock-risers in the Class of 2025.
Grady Carpenter Grady Carpenter 6'5" | PG Tipton | 2025 State IN (Tipton H.S.): Quite simply, we had Carpenter ranked too low prior to this rankings update. However, that is why we like to publish updates a handful of times per year because our evaluations are not always complete or perfect. Carpenter is a 6’4″ point guard that is as good of a passer as you’ll find in the state of Indiana right now. He is averaging 15.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game for Class 2A Top 10 Tipton. He continues to develop into one of the better point guard prospects in Indiana’s sophomore class. Now ranked #30 in class.
Garrett Clark Garrett Clark 6'4" | SG Portage | 2025 State IN (Portage H.S.): Clark has really expanded his game offensively and it has paid major dividends on the floor for Portage this season. The talented sophomore guard is leading the Indians in scoring at 14.2 points per game while also dishing out 3.5 assists per game. At 6’3″ he has good size in the backcourt, has the ball handling ability to consistently create his own shot on the perimeter, and shoots nearly 35% from three-point range on high volume while taking some tough shots. His trajectory is certainly pointed up right now. Ranked #29 overall in the Class of 2025.
Luke Ellspermann Luke Ellspermann 6'0" | PG Evansville Memorial | 2025 State IN (Evansville Memorial H.S.): This talented guard has put together an absolutely excellent sophomore season down in the Pocket City. Ellspermann is averaging a team-leading 17.7 points along with 5.4 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game for the Tigers. Most impressively, the 6’0″ scorer is very efficient from the field shooting nearly 50% overall and over 40% from three-point range. He can flat out fill it up offensively. Now ranked as the #26 prospect in Indiana’s Class of 2025.
Maguire Mitchell Maguire Mitchell 6'5" | SG Zionsville | 2025 State IN (Zionsville H.S.): One of the two star sophomore prospects for Zionsville, Mitchell averages 6.9 points per game and can catch-and-shoot from beyond the arc. He has good size on the wing at 6’3″ with plus length and some lateral athleticism that translates to the defensive end of the floor. Mitchell is a 3-and-D type of prospect to keep an eye on who will likely blossom into a Division I level talent over the coming seasons. He and Snively make up an excellent sophomore duo for the future of the Zionsville program.
Tyler Raasch Tyler Raasch 6'8" | C NorthWood | 2025 State IN (NorthWood H.S.): When you come across a 6’7″ sophomore that has the mobility of this prospect you are going to be intrigued. Raasch, who already holds an offer from Huntington, has stepped into a much expanded role this season for Class 3A #2 NorthWood. He has the length to help protect the rim, rebounds outside of his area, and finishes at a high level around the basket. As he continues to get stronger and put on weight he will become that much harder to handle inside. He jumped nearly 20 spots to #40 overall.
Drew Snively Drew Snively 6'4" | SG Zionsville | 2025 State IN (Zionsville H.S.): This 6’3″ prospect moved all the way up into the Top 20 at #17 overall. Snively is Zionsville’s third-leading scorer at 8.8 points per game and has flashed some real catch-and-shoot ability from beyond the arc. He is always under control with the ball in his hands, has the ability to attack closeouts to his right hand, and rebounds his position well. You can expect him to take over a primary scoring role after the Eagles two Division I commitments graduate this year.
