Max continues to prove that he can hoop at the next level. Max was ballin against Mountain View, Arizona as he was just built to score and score in a hurry. Max was doing it from deep and plowing his way through defenders as well. With 20+ points once again you can tell that MV was not ready for his style of play as they had no answer. We see Max probably putting 25 a game this tournament as he has become the 2nd 1,000 point scorer in CCHS history joining Trace Ross. (Visit Mesa Tournament)
Bingham has been struggling with another tough schedule and they got somewhat of a break by going out of state but they had no easy task but KJ was able to get things started early with his elite shooting. Really impressed with that confidence he showed as he was catching and shooting without hesitating. He was ball faking and moving well without the basketball. It has been really good for him to have other ball handlers on the floor with him as he was able to play that wing a bit more. (Tarkanian Classic)
Loved the way he asserted himself early as he was working the post but also had a chance to exchange positions with his other big and he was showing his passing ability from the high post. When he gets a running start at the rim he can elevate and rebound over those leapers but he was just too much and then you throw in the fact that he is hitting those three’s on trails and when he pops out he is just next level talented. Catch him at the Tarkanian Classic.
Highlights
Tough loss but you can see that next level talent and once he gets more and more reps shooting from deep he is going to be a big time hooper at the next level. His team sometimes plays too fast to get him so quality looks as they like to speed things up but when a team takes a chance on him I think they will get a steal with him. (Tarkanian Classic)
