Below is a review of six uncommitted prospects from southeastern Pennsylvania who impressed us at this past Saturday’s “Difference Makers Showcase”.
Christian Bliss – 6’4” / Junior / George School / NY Rens / Combo Guard: On Saturday Bliss was simply dominant at both ends of the court. He scored at all three levels, distributed the rock, and played menacing on ball defense. His drive and kick passing skills were especially impressive. Bliss is significantly more athletic than people realize, and he is an intense competitor. He boosted his recruiting stock significantly at this event. Holds offers from Delaware, Towson, Drexel, FGCU and others.
Colin Bowman Colin Bowman 6'2" | SF Friends Central | 2023 State PA – 6’3″ / Senior / Friends Central / PSB Philly / Combo Guard: This skilled lefty is flying under the radar because of the depth of talent on the FCS roster. With his a nearly automatic stroke, Bowman can drain threes and mid-range jumpers. At this event Bowman showed vastly improved dribble drive skills. He also got out in transition and converted on several tough finishes. His size and physicality enable him to play through significant contact and still score the rock.

– 6’2” / Junior / Cardinal O’Hara /
Philly Ballhawks
/ Combo Guard: “Flash” Burton’s 39 points and 8 assists performance vs Covenant Academy Prep was the talk of the DM Showcase. Burton’s athleticism and quick first step allowed to him to score the ball in whatever fashion he wanted. On Saturday he further solidified his reputation as one of the top scoring point guards in the region. “Flash” is a transition phenom, but his half-court skills are signifcantly underrated. This poised and smooth guard can operate off pick action, drian mid-range Js and deep threes. “Flash” recently picked up an offer from UTEP.
Adam “Budd” Clark – 5’9” / Senior / West Catholic / Philly Pride / Combo Guard: Clark’s role at WC has shifted to that of a scoring point guard and he is exceling in that role. With his speed and tight handles, it is impossible to keep Clark out of the paint. Once there, he can score at the rim or via floaters. On Saturday, his stop and pop game was lethal. Plus, he can shoot threes, turns steals into easy buckets and facilitates for teammates. Clark holds offers from Coppin State, Rider and Lafayette.
Earle Greer, Jr. – 6’7” / Senior / Rocktop Academy / Team Final Red / Wing: This is the second week in a row that theGreer has simply destroyed the competition. Last week he lit up Phelps School for 29 points. On Saturday he showed once again that he is one of the elite scorers in the region. As the kids say, “He is a walking bucket.” Defensively Greer is a plus player who can guard 1 through 4. High DI programs are sleeping on this kid (Holds offers from Manhattan, UAB, FIU and NJIT).
Bahsil Laster – 6’5″ / Junior / Academy of New Church / We R1 / Combo Guard: Laster is a “big guard” who is well schooled on how to use that size to his advantage. With his height and court vision he distributes above defenders with ease. Laster’s size advantage allows him to shoot jumpers over opposing guards and at times dive to the block for post-up scoring opportunities. At the other end of the court, his size, wingspan, and instincts make Laster a plus rebounder and defender.
