The 4A Rundown
Previewing the depth of 4A is never simple because you never know how many teams will be in this section. I have 14 listed, there will be more. There were 16 seeded last season and one of them played only three games all season. There were seven that played half a season or less and two teams that just didn’t play. We needed to mention that because that is why we only have fourteen teams listed. For the teams playing, New Life Academy is the team to beat. They were in the final four of Class A basketball last season and they lost only one player. West Lutheran will be good again and Legacy Christian should take a big step forward, but the team to beat is New Life Academy. They have size, depth, quickness in the backcourt and experience. When you look at all the categories Legacy should be the closest to giving them a run.
