Stellen scored 16 points but was a much bigger force then that vs Spearfish saturday. Very strong on the block and his physicality was difficult to handle all game long, he also stepped outside to nock down a three and it was a smooth/clean looking shot. Was dominant on the boards by just being more physical and hungry then eveyone else on the floor.

“All-State Tournament team last spring. Strong and athletic player that can finish through contact and has a great catch and shoot 3 pt shot. Has committed to play at Dakota State University next fall. He has improved greatly on the defensive end and will need to rebound consistently for us this year as well. He will need to play most minutes and will need to impact all areas of the game for us.“

With his combination of skill, toughness, and experience, he’s poised to be one of the team’s most important players in 2025–26.

Stellen is a great SG, that plays with strength and uses his body like a PF when needed. He can post up and play in around the 6 foot area with consistency, yet deadly from deep. He plays unselfish basketball setting screens and making his teammates better around him. Larson has good body balance on the floor showing spin moves and euros in his bag.

Larson rose his stock and played well enough to earn an offer from Dakota Wesleyan after the tournament. I think a lot had to do with how hard he plays and how he affects a game with his mindset and playstyle. He competes defensively, gets heavy on the glass, and is a wrecking ball in transition. A catch-and-shoot three-ball artist. Much more than just a 3-and-D player.
