He's a prospect that can handle defensive pressure with the ball in his hands while applying pressure himself defensively. As he improves his ability to finish in traffic, look for his stock to grow in the 2023 class in the state this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>[player_tooltip player_id='1368541' first='Chase' last='Seawell'], 2023, Wendell Elite (Corinth Holders)</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Seawell was another name with Wendell Elite to keep an eye on given his ability to attack the paint and play without the ball in his hands. He's an underrated athlete that can operate on the wing and in the paint given his strong frame. He was also a lead defender for them, diving for loose balls and showing off his effort even when things weren't going his team's way.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>[player_tooltip player_id='1631161' first='Ibu' last='Adewumi'], 2024, The Farm (Rolesville)</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Adewumi was a 2024 prospect that stepped up for The Farm as they made it all the way down to the championship game. His ability to fly around for rebounds and step out and knock down the midrange shot was impressive. He did well to use his 6-foot-3 length to do multiple things on the floor for his squad. He'll be one to watch this season over at Rolesville High.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>[player_tooltip player_id='1076332' first='Greg' last='Ehlinger'], 2024, Morrisville Mobb (Panther Creek)</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ehlinger stepped up and was the anchor down low with [player_tooltip player_id='1614295' first='Caleb' last='Surgers'] out for the day with Morrisville Mobb. He did well to clean up on the glass and be a presence on the offensive rebounding front. As he learns to keep up with the speed of the game defensively, look for him to develop with Panther Creek High in 2022-23.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2>[player_tooltip player_id='1156297' first='Isaac' last='Tatum'], 2024, The Farm (Rolesville)</h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tatum was another 2024 name with The Farm that showed off his ability in the backcourt. He's a shifty ball-handler that showed he could get going when needed, posting 17 points in the second round and 10 points in the semi-finals to pace the scoring attack at the guard spot. He showed he could get by defenders and finish in the paint. He showed he could defend and play a primary role in their pressure defense.
