Jacob Rice Jacob Rice 6'4" | SG Western Reserve Acadmey | 2025 OH (St. Laurence)
Really liked what we saw out of Rice throughout the camp. He is an understated guard that isn’t overly flashy, but consistently gets the job done. Excellent mid-range game that he hit from 15-18 feet on the regular. Also liked how he always had a nose for the ball rebounding very well for a guard at 6’2”.
Elijah Lovemore Elijah Lovemore 6'2" | PG Bloom | 2025 State #344 Nation IL (Bloom)
Lovemore was one of the top Illinois stock boosters at the event in our opinion. The 6’3” shooting guard was ultra smooth scoring from all over the floor. Long and lanky frame where he should continue to grow into a big wing. Elite burst with the rock in his hands weaving through defenders and finishing at the cup with either hand. Active wing defender and rebounded well for his position.
Justin Bowen Justin Bowen 6'5" | SF Lincoln Park | 2025 State IL (OPRF)
Bowen has size, strength, and skill on the perimeter. He is a straight bucket getter as he rained in jumpers from beyond the arc creating space on his own. Also uses his strength at the cup to shield defenders for scores in the paint.
Gavin Escobedo Gavin Escobedo 6'2" | SG Rolling Meadows | 2025 IL (Rolling Meadows)
Rolling Meadows has a ton of depth this season. Add this sophomore guard to it as we could see him being a shooting specialist off the bench for this squad. Plus shot maker from three.
Zion Gross (Crete Monee)
Gross was one of the more pleasant surprises of the event. Silky smooth jump shooter that creates his shot from both mid-range and three. Super long and rangy frame where the 6’3” two guard should continue to grow. Can handle it in the open floor showing fluidness taking his man off the dribble
Brady Sehlhorst Brady Sehlhorst 6'6" | SF Niles Notre Dame | 2025 State IL (Niles Notre Dame)
Fourth time we have seen him this spring and the Niles Notre Dame small forward brings it every single time. The shot making is what first stands out as he is a sniper from deep. We really like his athleticism and toughness scoring in the paint and throwing down dunks in transition.
Damion Porter (Fenwick)
Porter was playing a bit out of position as more of an interior player. Strong and physical body allows him to rebound well and convert on second chance points on the offensive glass. Did hit one three in the game we caught. Part of a loaded young core for Fenwick.
Caleb Lindsey Caleb Lindsey 6'5" | SF St. Laurence | 2025 State IL (St. Laurence)
Really liked what we saw out of the 6’4” Lindsey at Pangos. Athletic wing that has pop off the bounce attacking downhill. Finished in the lane on spin moves and was a force finishing in transition. Snatches rebounds in traffic and is a quality wing defender. Capable three point shooter that should continue to get better.
