On Sunday I made the trip down to Gibson Southern High School to check out the 10th annual Pocket City Fall League. This is the premier fall league in southwestern Indiana featuring the best talent from Evansville and the surrounding area. It was a great opportunity to get eyes on a lot of the best players in that area under one roof. Over the next couple of days I'll pump out a handful of articles from the event, starting with some top performers that I highlighted earlier. Follow the link to check out that article if you have missed it. Now, let's take a look at six prospects who I wasn't as familiar with before seeing them in person on Sunday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1557196' first='Blake' last='Anderson'] (Evansville Memorial H.S. 2023): This 6'4" forward stood out as much as anyone on Sunday in terms of how well they played. Having not really seen Anderson much at all before, he impressed with his physicality and offensive versatility. Throughout the day he knocked in a corner three, consistently drove to the basket against closeouts, and finished inside at a high percentage. Will be one of the primary pieces for a talented Memorial team this season. Could see some Division III programs getting involved throughout the year.

Cale Donoho (South Spencer H.S. 2023): Donoho is an excellent shooter that stretches the defense at all times. He has a quick, fluid release as a catch-and-shoot threat while also reading screens well and showing the ability to make some tough shots on the move. Look for him to have a big senior season for a good South Spencer team that could make some noise. Has garnered some Division III interest.

[player_tooltip player_id='2089913' first='Max' last='Hostetter'] (White River Valley H.S. 2024): A 5'10" left-handed guard, Hostetter scored it in a variety of ways throughout the day at the Pocket City Fall League. He showed off a quick release on catch-and-shoot opportunities while also creating for himself at a high level off of the dribble. Hostetter scored 19 and 25 points in his two games on Sunday. Under-the-radar scorer in southwest Indiana.

[player_tooltip player_id='1761697' first='Malachi' last='McNair'] (Evansville Harrison H.S. 2024): McNair was a dominant performer around the basket when I saw him on Sunday. The 6'3"-6'4" forward may be a little undersized to be a true back to the basket guy, but his excellent footwork allowed him to consistently finish around his defender. He is very strong, played through contact well, and also rebounded at both ends of the floor. Really impressive performance by him and definitely jumped onto the radar heading into his junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1578455' first='Quade' last='Morton'] (Pike Central H.S. 2024): Morton is a strong, left-handed shooter who really impressed with his three-point shooting ability on Saturday. He is coming off a big 15+ point per game season as a sophomore at Pike Central and should have a big junior year. The sharp-shooter is a talented all-around scorer who really impressed me on Sunday in one of my first live opportunities to evaluate him.

Joey Nunge (Castle H.S. 2023): This smooth, long guard played very well on Sunday afternoon. Nunge has a good looking outside shot knocking down a couple of catch-and-shoot three-pointers while I was watching. He also put the ball on the floor and attacked the basket both in transition and from the wing in the half court. Good ball-handler. I would expect to see him take on an expanded role for his senior season at Castle.
