Easton Hupp Easton Hupp 6'5" | SG Argyle Liberty Christian | 2025 State TX 2025 6’4 Fort Worth Christian
Highlights
Hupp is an energetic wing prospect, who uses his non stop motor to affect the game on both ends of the court. He has a great frame, and is a wiling defender. He can realistically guard 3-4 and if he improves his foot speed over the next three years, he could probably end up defending positions 2-4 at a high level. His energy and effort on the defensive side of the ball definitely did not go unnoticed. He consistently runs the floor for easy opportunities on the fast break. He was always moving without the ball, cutting to the rim and garnering the defense’s attention, opening up a driving lane for a teammate. His strong frame allows him to finish and fight through contact, and his overall basketball IQ allows him to wait patiently for an opening to appear. If Hupp can continue to develop his athleticism and overall foot speed, Fort Worth might have another very intriguing prospect on their hands!
Ja’Corien Oes 2025 6’4 Tyler Legacy High School
Ja’Corian is a name that is going to be quickly growing in popularity across the state of Texas. He is a beast when getting downhill and attacking the rim, bouncing off of his opponents and finishing strong. I was very impressed with his strength and frame at such a young age, and how willing he was to use it to fend off his opponents. He routinely used his body to get his defenders off balance and bounce them out of his way to the rim. In the open court, after a few times of him running up and down, no one wanted to get in front of him as he came down court at full speed. He had some emphatic finishes on the fast break, and showed off his willingness and ability to finish on either side of the rim. Oes has all the tools to be a really successful and impactful prospect at the next level. I would like to see continued development with his off hand, and getting into his shot from the mid-range with a live dribble. I am intrigued to get back in the gym to see him again soon.
Kaden Mitchell Kaden Mitchell 6'6" | C Centennial | 2025 TX 2025 6’6 Centennial High School
Kaden was absolutely dominant during his time on the court, punishing defenders underneath the rim and even showing off his ability to stretch the floor and add some range to his game. I was very impressed by his shot mechanics and his ability to catch and shoot out of the corners and wing spots on the floor. He has enough touch to become a dominant pick and pop weapon, setting back breaking screens and then flaring out for an open look. Mitchell was a man amongst boys down low, finishing through contact, cleaning up his teammates’ misses and fighting for positioning. His energy on the offensive and defensive glass gave his team second chance points and allowed them to have more success running the fast break. I would like to see him continue to develop his handle, shot off the bounce from the mid-range and increasing his overall agility and foot speed. There is always a coach at the next level looking for a small ball pick and pop big, and Mitchell might be the right weapon for someone at the next level!
Braydn Alward 2025 6’5 Byron Nelson High School
Braydn is a skilled wing prospect who has the handle, shot making ability and frame to take over at the next level. He is already a skilled scorer off the catch, who showed an ability to put the ball on the floor and rise up in your face too. I was very impressed by his overall agility and fluidity with a live dribble, taking the ball coast to coast and finishing strong in some instances as well. He is a willing rebounder, and did well to high point the ball in multiple instances. His frame and strength down low struck some fear into the hearts of his opponents, forcing them to change their shot angles. As he continues to develop his handle, he is going to end up being one of the top shooting guards and wing prospects in Dallas! He already plays the game like a shooting guard, a very intriguing prospect to watch. Braydn is an incredibly versatile play maker for his size, never being unselfish but instead keeping his head up to pick apart the defense. Alward has all of the necessary tools to become a successful prospect at the next level.
