With good size for a guard, Hupp is difficult to guard as he has a variety of moves to score with. Hupp has a quick release and this helps him knock down jumpers even if they are contested. He’s good at catching and shooting whether it’s three pointers or mid ranges. He has a good touch around the rim converting on many floaters. His handle is tight and he doesn’t waste dribbles which helps him get past defenders to score at the rim. He has the ability to score off isolations and uses his size to score off mismatches.

Hupp’s high motor really set him apart from others, he proved to be the type of player that does whatever he has to do to get the win.
