With good size for a guard, Hupp is difficult to guard as he has a variety of moves to score with. Hupp has a quick release and this helps him knock down jumpers even if they are contested. He’s good at catching and shooting whether it’s three pointers or mid ranges. He has a good touch around the rim converting on many floaters. His handle is tight and he doesn’t waste dribbles which helps him get past defenders to score at the rim. He has the ability to score off isolations and uses his size to score off mismatches.

He attacked the defensive glass with aggression and determination, proving himself to be tough as nails. Hupp could get downhill against any defender, excelling at driving in either direction but being particularly effective going left. His well-rounded scoring arsenal included shooting from distance, driving to the basket, and finishing through contact, making him a threat at all three levels. Hupp was great at initiating contact and finishing through it, often drawing shooting fouls. At the foul line, he was highly efficient, rarely missing opportunities. His pure jumper was nearly automatic when left open, making him a highly effective shooter from various ranges and situations on the court. His playmaking capabilities were on full display as Hupp broke down defenses with court vision and floor awareness. He read the defense and anticipated plays with great patience and poise never rushing his decisions as he surveyed the court, waiting for the right moment to make a pass or drive to the basket where he could finish through contact or pump his defender off their feet for an open layup. He delivered accurate throws from various angles, making overhead hook and bounce passes through tight closing windows that led his teammates to open looks at the basket. Each time Easton Hupp Easton Hupp 6'5" | SG Argyle Liberty Christian | 2025 State TX stepped onto the floor he found a way to change the game in more ways than one. Hupp’s high motor really set him apart from others, he proved to be the type of player that does whatever he has to do to get the win. Hupp truly excelled at running the floor in transition and he was one of the best to do it, making himself a passing option each time down the court. In a halfcourt set, Easton made strong hard cuts with a purpose, also showed the wherewithal to utilize pump fakes along with patience before going up with a layup under the basket.
