Similar to Turay, Dickerson impacts the game in a variety of ways on both ends of the court. A solid athlete from the wing who plays hard, guards well on the ball and scores it in transition. Dickerson ended a great high school career as one of the top players in the TAAC this season. Amani averaged 20 PPG on the season and shot it efficiently from all areas of the court. Holding offers from Capital, Heidelberg and Lourdes, Dickerson has a variety of options to choose from at the next level.

Recently moving to 7-0, Dickerson has helped Maumee Valley Country Day jump off to a fast start this season. A versatile wing who on the Prep Hoops Circuit provided a lot of energy in transition and on the defensive end of the court. I thought Dickerson also had a strong showing at the Toledo Top 64 where his athleticism and motor were on full display. Putting up strong numbers across the board as a senior, Dickerson deserves the small college recruiting attention he’s already received.

Dickerson is Mr consistent and Mr does it all for Maumee Valley. You will always know what you are going to get from him and in a huge road conference game for the Hawks, that’s exactly what they needed. He was knocking down shots and getting to the rim easily all night. He showed off some good dribbling moves to freeze the defender’s feet before attacking them. This allowed lanes to naturally open up. His length and athleticism allow him to be very versatile and a great defender. He is a player you can lean and he will perform. It was very fitting he knocked down 2 free throws to secure the win for Maumee Valley.

Dickerson is the other head of Maumee Valley’s two-headed monster. I think he is the glue guy for the Hawks. He does a little of it all. His length and athleticism lead to being able to do everything. He is a great defender, he provides smoother on-ball pressure. He is the most consistent player for Maumee Valley and is someone they can lean on.

Another Maumee Valley Country Day prospect who stood out, we already mentioned Cj Majors in my last article, Dickerson impacted the game in a variety of ways. A high energy wing who plays hard and puts pressure on the defense with his relentless attacks on the rim. If Dickerson can simplify his role as a slashing wing who hits mid-range shots and defend, he’ll have a nice role at a small college program. With the duo of Majors and Dickerson, Maumee Valley Country Day could be one of the best small school programs in NW Ohio this winter.

Dickerson is someone who has been on the rise in the division three radar as of late. He has taken a lot of visits and deservedly so. Dickerson is a long wing who uses his length better than most. He stretches and almost swims through the lane when attacking. He finishes very well with his arms fully extended with either hand. He is a best in transitioning. He explodes and runs by people like it’s a track meet when in the open court. He has great defensive energy and pressure. He has a knack for creating turnovers.

Dickerson has a very unique and effective way to use his length. Most players just use it to get in passing lanes, steals, and contest jump shooters defensively and Dickerson does those very well but his way to use it to score is impressive. He uses his length to make some very tough acrobatic layups. He kind of swims through the lane. He has great euro steps and the ability to stay on his lane to the rim. He finished with 21 points and almost all of them came off of the way he used his length.
