Angstmann put up big-time numbers as a senior and earned himself a spot on the all-Ohio second team. Showing improved scoring versatility this season, his breakout game was a 36 point performance against Indian Lake where he knocked down nine 3-pointers. Able to run off screens and catch and shoot at his size, Angstmann is an intriguing prospect to monitor at the college level.

Angstman is a next-level player. He has made some serious improvements from the last time I saw him play. This kid is a PLAYER. He is listed at 6’7 but plays a wing for St. Mary’s and he does it well. He handles the ball well. He has some handling moves to break down the defenders that give him space to attack and get their shot off. He has a very good middle dribble pull-up. He has the next-level size for his position. He is tall, long, and strong. He has some really good form and is just a pure shot. He has a high point of release and arching shot. Makes it very tough to even contest. He has great fundamentals. College coaches, this kid is a SLEEPER that you need to see.

A unique forward, Angstmann can knock down outside shots at a high level. I was also impressed with how Angstmann moved his feet on switches to smaller but quicker guards. Hoping to see some growth in production as a senior but the skills are there for Angstmann to make a major leap as a senior alongside Jace Turner for St Mary’s Memorial.

Angstmann is a 6’7 stretch-4 who showed the ability to shoot it from the outside. I was impressed with Angstmann’s ability to space the floor and move on the perimeter with or without the ball in his hands. When you combine his size, mobility and shooting ability you have a pretty interesting prospect but taking the next step will involve hitting the weight room more often and getting more confident putting the ball on the floor. St Mary’s Memorial is one of the bigger teams in Ohio size wise and Angstmann will have a major role as they look to win another district title.
