Led by legendary Coach George Stackhouse, the Wolverines will have several new faces this year to go along with a few returning upperclassmen that should give them a nice balance. Workouts began with a high amount of work on the defensive side of the ball followed by some half court and full court five on five competition.
A new addition to the Wolverine squad, we fully expect him to have a big-time season which will only boost his recruitment sooner than later. He’s added more muscle to his frame and his perimeter shooting looks like it has improved nicely since last season.

Another player that has transferred in, he’s learning a lot on the defensive side of the ball but already has shown some flashes on the offensive end. He has legit height and a long wingspan to go along with his ability to knock down shots from three-point land.

It’s not often that you see a freshman that comes in with the physique to immediately compete on the varsity level but that’s what you see from this young man. He’s a shifty Guard that has plenty of moves in his arsenal with a scary amount of overall upside.
Energy and effort are traits that we saw from the beginning of the workout to the end for this young man. You have to love a player that brings this type of energy regardless of if he’s making shots or not, and his experience with playing in the program multiple years will only help the team.

Another player with nice upside, he continues to improve on both ends of the floor and is developing as a big man. A legit 6’8, that has a chance to be a high-level paint protector over the next few years and will continue to add to his offensive game.
One of the few returning players that contributed a solid number of minuets last season, his playing experience will be important for this younger team at the beginning of the season. He’s played in all types of games and will be a player that can bring some calmness to the court when things may get intense.
