Continue ReadingWith Summer coming to an end and Fall right around the corner, we continue our Hoops Report for hundreds of Prospects in the state of Pennsylvania. The Prep Hoops PA database is loaded with talented players from all over the state and we begin in the western region, known as the WPIAL (Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League). This area has been football dominated for an extremely long time, but basketball has taken a big jump forward in recent years. Let’s take an in-depth look at a variety of top performers on the court this upcoming high school/prep season.
- Class of 2025, 5’11 point guard
- Imani Christian Academy High School
- He is a fast, skilled guard that creates opportunities for not only himself but his team while being the floor general
- Class of 2024, 6’3 wing forward
- Central Catholic High School
- A vertically gifted player that can block shots on defense and dunk on opponents on offense
Joey Dopriak
- Class of 2024, 6’5 power forward
- North Allegheny High School
- His high basketball IQ and sound jumper make him a matchup problem every time he steps onto the floor
- Class of 2025, 6’0 shooting guard
- The Neighborhood Academy High School
- An active defender with the ability to get steals that lead to fast break opportunities for his team
- Class of 2025, 5’11 combo guard
- Chartiers Valley High School
- An older rising senior with the maturity to show his worth throughout a game for the Colts
- Class of 2025, 6’0 shooting guard
- Ringgold High School
- He can score from a variety of spots with penetration and quality jumpers from mid-range
- Class of 2025, 6’9 power forward
- Imani Christian High School
- This extremely tall and lanky performer has developed a deadly perimeter shot to compliment his solid post game

- Class of 2025, 6’1 shooting guard
- Uniontown High School
- A sound leader that will continue to impress on both the offensive and defensive ends of the hardwood
- Class of 2024, 6’5 wing forward
- Franklin Regional High School
- He has worked hard on not just having inside scoring ability but now he scores from the perimeter as well
- Class of 2024, 6’2 wing forward
- Yough High School
- A slasher that puts up points in a hurry and plays solid defense for his squad
