Bradon Bird
Bradon Bird
Bird is a lanky wing who really filled it up on the club circuit this summer. He’s a bouncy forward who pops in and out of the lane to catch and score. He’s a solid ball handler who can penetrate for jumpers too. He makes nice entry passes from the wing and runs the floor well. He got good varsity experience as a sophomore and should add to his 5 points and 5 boards next season.
Andrew Bowman

The Red Aces have been blessed with some great guard play, and Bowman has been a great complement from the wing. He may handle more of the ball handling duties moving forward, but so far in his career he’s been primarily a sniper and rebounder. He averaged 10 points and 5 rebounds, but his 2 assists and 2 steals a game tell you he can do some of everything.
Lance Lickiss

There are so many talented players at tiny Macksville, Lickiss gets overlooked. He averaged 6 points and 7 boards for the diverse and athletic Mustangs as a junior. He showed he can be a scorer to watch when he popped for 12 points in the third-place win over Solomon at the state tournament.
Calvin Manville

Manville is a long ball handler who can push the ball and attack from the wing. He can get hot and really light it up from deep. The Chargers graduated some nice talent, but Manville leads a solid group returning.
Cody Schurle

CHIEF flies under the radar as a home-school co-op that doesn’t compete in the KSHSAA ranks. But their players have earned some respect when they engage in some summer competition and against quality private schools. Schurle has been a productive player for several years. As a junior, he put up 17 points, 9 rebounds and a handful of assists each game.
