Xavier Green Xavier Green 5’11” | PG The Colony | 2026 State TX was insanely hot all day long. He made a habit out of knocking down jumpshots and crossing over defenders that attempted to step up and guard him. Green didn’t show many if any, limitations as a bucket getter, he has it all offensively. Green proved to be an extremely crafty individual who instantly displayed the ability to beat defenders off the dribble in one-on-one situations from multiple angles and smoothly finish the play with reverse under-the-basket layups, showing excellent finishing skills and the body control to adjust and contort himself midair. This kid showed a pure talent for hitting difficult shots. He had an incredibly smooth and fast way of going into his shot off the bounce when the defense least expected it, showing a very fluid dribble to pull-up shooting motion. The standout guard drilled countless jumpshots in defenders’ faces while being contested or having little to no space with ease and poise over shorter and taller defenders. He also displayed a terrific understanding of the drive and kick as he consistently drew attention and made the defense sink deep into the lane before dishing it out. His very well-polished footwork, offensive IQ, and unlimited energy really set him apart from the rest of the prospects in attendance. When everyone else got tired and sluggish Green kept the same energy and continued his hot streak. I loved his defensive effort, he never gave up on a play, pressured and exploited ball-handlers weaknesses, looked to grab rebounds and take it the other way for two points, and he even produced a few chase-down blocks. Xavier Green Xavier Green 5’11” | PG The Colony | 2026 State TX was extraordinary, the absolute best scorer, jumpshooter, ball-handler, and playmaker at the event, hands down.
Carter Cash Chism Cash Chism 6’2″ | CG Mount Pleasant | 2026 TX proved to be an all-around player who can do a bit of everything. Throughout the day Chism put his smooth skillset on full display and was able to dictate the flow of games by playing at his own pace and never forcing his scoring. Chism did a great job of scanning the floor and finding a weakness to attack. The 6-foot-2-inch guard was a very graceful and efficient finisher at the rim, he did an excellent job of shielding the ball with his body on the way up for a layup, keeping the rock high and out of the reach of rim protectors or contesting defenders. As a jumpshooter, Cash showed consistency with his high-arcing jumpshot which assisted him perfectly when being tightly defended or contested. Although he shot the rock a bit higher than most, his touch and rotation were impeccable and the ball splashed through the net almost the same way every time. Not only was he a threat to score any time the ball was in his hands, but he was also a problem without the ball in hand, showing intelligence while playing on and off the ball due to his good relocation and backdoor-cutting instincts. Whenever he wasn’t scoring the ball Chism was making the correct passes and reads. This kid displayed a much better feel for the game than most of his peers on both ends of the floor, particularly on the defensive end where Chism quickly covered ground and attacked the passing lanes, creating several fastbreak chances.
Bo Ogden Bo Ogden 6’6″ | SG St. Michael Catholic Academy | 2026 State TX showed a highly active motor that often went unmatched. Ogden constantly competed for everything on both sides of the ball, his effort was off the charts and second to none, he stood out tremendously as one of the top rebounders in the gym, heavily contributing on the glass on both ends of the court and consistently crashing the defensive glass in order to jump-start the fast break. As the day went on, Ogden’s offensive rebounding really became a huge asset to his teammate’s success. Bo always knew when to grab a board and go right back up with it and when to kick it out to an open perimeter player for a quick catch-and-shoot. Dynamic in transition both defensively and offensively, the 6-foot-4 wing prospect relentlessly ran the floor with a purpose and if he got the ball inside he was destined to finish whether the lane was congested or not. When doing so, Ogden showed off his great use of his length while performing his layups and soft-touch floater over the top of the defense. Off the ball, Bo Ogden Bo Ogden 6’6″ | SG St. Michael Catholic Academy | 2026 State TX made his teammates better with timely cuts to the rack and his ability to spread the floor to open spots from outside. There was a lot to like about this freshman, he doesn’t back down from a challenge and he’s fierce and feisty with a great competitive edge.
Trent Perry Trent Perry 6’4″ | SG Link Academy | 2026 MO put on a spectacular spectacle, showcasing a phenomenal combination of skills while posting up, scoring with his back to the basket, facing up, and creating his own shot off the dribble, including athletic abilities that were off the charts. Next-level high flyer potential, I witnessed Perry throw down some slam dunks in the open floor and in traffic that were simply out of the ordinary for a true freshman. This kid was flushing between the legs dunks during warm-ups with ease. Perry was a man amongst boys, he stood tall at 6-foot-3 but played more like he was 6-foot-8 due to his physically overwhelming power, strength, and explosiveness. In the post, he proved to be more than capable of out-leaping everyone for the rebound, grabbing the ball at such a high point nobody else had a chance. When creating his own shot, Perry showed off a bag of handles, hop steps, and long strides which seemed unstoppable in transition on a straight-line drive. Perry was a terror coming downhill and fearless on the attack. The wing-forward showed a strong ability to quickly switch his pace and direction whenever the defense stepped up before proceeding to drive the lane where he was well-prepared to slam dunk on whoever was in his path. In the half court, Trent Perry Trent Perry 6’4″ | SG Link Academy | 2026 MO showcased a remarkable ability to score from several different spots on the floor from the inside out, displaying a well-developed jumper and mid-range scoring capabilities. He ate defenders alive in isolation with a mean go-to reverse layup and a dangerous two-dribble pull-up. On the defensive end, Perry displayed great awareness as an off-ball defender due to his understanding of how to position himself between the ball and his man. His instincts and anticipation for the play would then take over and allow Perry to disrupt passing lanes and force turnovers due to his deflections. The potential for Trent Perry Trent Perry 6’4″ | SG Link Academy | 2026 MO is through the roof, not only does he have the skills to become one of the most dynamic and most sought-after wing forwards in the country but he also has the massive size, length, and motor to go along with it.
6-foot-5-inch, Gilbert Aluga Gilbert Aluga 6’6″ | PF Liberty Frisco | 2026 TX was the most outstanding big man in the gym, very skilled with good hands, the handles and footwork to get inside and create his own shot before finishing with a strong layup in traffic or a nice jump hook. Aluga proved to be an unguardable beast in the post as he beat interior defenders with his strength and finesse. Game after game, it seemed like Aluga was able to establish position each time down the floor and his guards continuously found a way to feed him the ball. He was also a fast break threat who played above the rim and easily threw down tomahawk slams. His mobility instantly stood out as he ran the floor pushing the pace and passing and cutting through the lane for quick give-and-go opportunities. This is a very intriguing prospect who continues to steadily improve.
