You have to love the effort Eli plays with. Listed at 5-foot-10, Pippins’ stature doesn’t deter him. He flies around the floor with great energy. In a win over Union Grove, it was Eli’s relentless effort as an offensive rebounder that stood out. Pippins finished with 19 points and 13 rebounds showcasing a tremendous nose for the ball.

Pippins might get overshadowed at times during the season, but his importance to Carrollton cannot be overstated. Eli is a scrappy defender that hits open shots. He plays with a great synergy with running mate OB Watkins, both able to find each other at all times. In a 65-45 win over Christian Heritage, Eli was the catalyst collecting 17 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals.

Eli might not get the headlines like some of his fellow 2024 teammates, but Pippins is an integral cog to Carrollton’s success. He’s a consistent shooter that can score at multiple levels. It feels like you can always pencil in Pippins for at least two threes and a pair of buckets from inside the arc. He provides value as another ball handler and is a competitive defender.
