Expert Analysis
Kyle Sandy | Prep Hoops Scout
Top notch penetrator makes the offense go. Zips crosscourt passes to open shooters. Uses his strong frame to stay on his line when attacking the paint. Has a great understanding of how to catch defenders off balance. Switches speeds very well which helps him get two feet in the paint at such a high rate.

To our recollection, Love was one of those who we mentioned in our 2026 preview of this year’s Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo. Love displayed on the court at LakePoint Sports exactly why he was worthy of our preview evaluation. He wears the uniform of Team Georgia Magic during the AAU months of spring and summer. The six foot standout from 7A Valdosta managed to make plenty of plays at the rim and he is willing to play the game on contact which will place him at the free throw line. He can find his own shots, but is also able to find offensive opportunities for his teammates.

Love is currently slated to be one of two from the 7A Wildcats of Valdosta that will make their presences known at this year’s Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo. He stands at an even six feet. His primary position is running point and one can see with his ability to organize an offense in a halfcourt set. Love will showcase an ability to handle the ball with either hand and understands when the correct times are to distribute and when to score. He will throw defenders off balance with how quickly he can get to the basket even through a sea of opposing defenders and is confident in his ability to hit 3-pointers.

Love will begin the upcoming season with the Wildcats as the program itself is making a transition up from the 6A classification to the 7A ranks. What will Valdosta get with Love? It will get someone who is a gifted distributor of the ball and someone who can also shoot the 3-pointer. It will also get a talent who plays the one and who stands at 5-foot-10. The Wildcats on a total of 61 games in the last three seasons while playing in 6A. The team can expect for Love to be a much-appreciated virtue as Valdosta looks to duplicate its recent 6A success to the 7A field.
