The Grassroots season provides an opportunity to evaluate a ton of players that will have a chance to contribute locally in the upcoming high school season. Try as we might there are going to be some players that I just didn't get to see enough. With the upcoming rankings set to be released soon, there are some future juniors I need to lay eyes on.

[player_tooltip player_id='986957' first='Josiah' last='Cunningham'] 6'2 SG Coronado (#8) - Had a couple of glances at Cunningham over the last 6 months or so. His competitiveness has stood out to me. Seems to play consistently to his level vs the level of competition. Need to confirm his height, as well as evaluate him based on a full game body of work, to accurately determine his level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1177252' first='RJ' last='Nance'] 5'10 PG Centennial (#12) (featured image) - I have only laid eyes on Nance briefly this summer. The owner of the most mercurial game in the state, Nance checks a lot of boxes, including his scoring ability and level of competition played. I need to evaluate him over a mult-game stretch to guage his level of consistency.

[player_tooltip player_id='1351866' first='Dominic' last='Williams'] 6'4 SF Reed (#10) - Haven't had a chance to lay eyes on the talented Reno player since the end of the season. Williams was a dominant low post scorer during the high school season. I'm looking to evaluate his improvement in other scoring levels, specifically in faceup 1 v 1 situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='1016606' first='Xaviel' last='Rodriguez'] 6'5 SF Desert Valley Prep (#19) - Haven't had an opportunity to watch Rodriguez during the grassroots season. Wing players of that size with shooting ability are in high demand. I would like an opportunity to evaluate his R&J ability, as well as the level of his shooting skill.

[player_tooltip player_id='986963' first='Noah' last='Westbrook'] 6'6 PF Bishop Gorman (#23) - Because of setbacks I haven't gotten to see much of Westbrook at all. The skilled 4 will be working his way back from injury over the course of the next few months. I'm looking to see how long it takes him to get his timing and rhythm back, as well as how well he moves.

[player_tooltip player_id='1226904' first='Nathan' last='Sherrard'] 5'11 CG Mojave (#31) - Havent had a chance to see Sherrard at all. The state champion sharpshooter has one of the prettiest stokes in the city. Looking to check for physical growth, as well as additional offensive skills added to his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1132363' first='Andre' last='Cade'] 6'1 SG SLAM (#36) - Haven't had an opportunity to see Cade this summer. I'm anxious to see any improvement in his athleticism. He has the body type and agility to play with speed and power and I was already impressed with the quickness of his second jump. His development will be key to the Bulls being 3A contenders.
