Their last season of "summer ball" is over and their 17u AAU seasons are about to start back up. Here’s a look at the top post players in the 2023 class. This does not include players who made the Top Ten list for the class. Those players have been covered separately.

[player_tooltip player_id="926900" first="Robby" last="Todd"], Madison Central - Todd transferred to Madison Central before last season and it turned out to be a great move for his game as he bulked up and got more athletic and has shown himself to consistently be a double-double threat on a nightly basis. Robby also showed the ability to stretch the floor at 6’7 as a shooter and is more comfortable putting the ball on the floor and attacking the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id="1110297" first="Caleb" last="Brooks"], Cooper - Caleb is the kind of player that makes a college coach look like a genius when they get him as a steal in the 2023 class. Brooks is 6’9 and an above average rim protector who can score the ball all over the court. He’s an efficient scorer and has continued to improve as an out of area rebounder over the last two years.

[player_tooltip player_id="1221418" first="Crew" last="Gibson"], DeSales - Crew is highly skilled at 6’8 and can run an offense as a point forward or play on the block with his back to the basket. A really good post defender, Gibson knows how to guard without fouling and is really good at turning defense to offense with deflections and blocks. Crew is also a good enough shooter from the perimeter to keep defenses honest.

[player_tooltip player_id="1369439" first="Walter" last="Campbell"], Western Hills - Walter is the best athlete on this list and he’s built like an SEC tight end at 6’6. Campbell has great hands and finishes well around the rim. Coming off a season where he averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds while shooting 54% from the field and 34% from 3, Campbell is in the mix to be one of the best 5 players in the loaded 11th region.

[player_tooltip player_id="932773" first="Keith" last="Robinson"], PRP - Keith is one of those guys that every coach loves to watch play because his motor never stops running. Robinson has a hardhat mentality and outworks opponents on both ends of the court. At 6’5, Keith is a 3 level scorer who shot 36% from three last season and 81% at the free throw line. His recruitment should pick up as he’s a coach’s dream.
