About Devin
Expert Analysis
Kyle Sandy | Prep Hoops Scout
McClain was terrific, nearly supplying the dagger when he sank a transition corner three with 36 seconds left to push the Storm ahead by two before Hudson’s heroics. Devin posted 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists while shooting 7-15 from the field including 5-12 from deep. His growth from primarily an energy slasher into a big-shot maker on the perimeter has been impressive. He’s a nice small school prospect.

Devin went to work against one of the state’s better frontcourts. McClain finished with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 1 block, serving as Providence Christian’s tallest player at roughly 6-foot-4. Devin showcased his offensive versatility, netting three three-pointers, scoring on a putback, a drive and sinking two free throws. Devin’s offensive game has grown since last year, becoming a more well-rounded perimeter player that can now stretch the defense consistently, all while still providing major effort around the rim.

Long is a big-time sleeper in this 2023 class and will be a steal for whoever snags him this late in the game. Great three-point shooter with textbook shooting stroke. Every bit of 6’4 but plays a lot bigger, loves to finish above the rim. Hits the boards hard and has several double-doubles this year. Could really help a lot of D2/NAIA schools at this point in the recruiting process.

Will be a go-to guy this season after being a major energy provider as a junior. Averaged 9.5 points and 6.7 rebounds. Plays hard as a slasher and rebounder. Underrated three-point shooter.
