First Team All-Tournament
Zayden Best | Point Guard | JEB Elite 2025
Zayden Best is one of, if not the biggest stock riser of the weekend, he put on an incredible dribbling and shooting display that left us all blown away. This freshman prospect continuously made the right basketball play, he knows when to make the extra pass and when to shoot it, he rarely took a bad shot, and he handled the ball without making costly turnovers. Best also showcased unbelievably deep shooting range from college and NBA distance with an effortless release off the catch and off the dribble, and once he got hot the rim became as big as an ocean, and everything he put up began to fall whether he was contested or not. Zayden’s dynamic ball-handling created a shot whenever it seemed like nothing was there, showing off a bag full of moves that he can combine at any given moment. His quick-twitch dribbling impressively led directly into his shooting motion. Such a well-polished set of skills, it seems like he spends a lot of time in the gym improving his craft.
Zaylin Rowland | Point Guard | Bryson Warren United 2025
This Bryson Warren United standout had the offense running like a well-oilded machine, very calm and collected, never seemed in a rush, he played at his own pace, understood how to control the tempo of the game, and also set the tone. What set Rowland’s game apart from others was his next-level handles, footwork, and sheer craftiness. When it came to changing speed and direction, Rowland was in a league of his own, he was amazing at using angles to get the ball where he needed to. Very slippery and tough to stick to in a one-on-one, Zaylin attacks the hip of his defender with a burst of quickness before bending the corner in a smooth and easy way. Rowland also proved to be a master at drawing fouls on a shot attempt, he did a phenomenal job of protecting the ball on the dribble drive while bouncing his body off a defender to pick up the call. Skilled facilitator, he saw all his cutters on the floor and hit them with eye-popping touch passes and wrap-around dimes. Zaylin Rowland possesses an abundance of natural point guard skills and savviness along with the rare ability to pass, dribble, and shoot whether he’s going left or right which made it incredibly easy for him to set up his teammates off the bounce.

Trent Pane instantly looked to get the ball downhill in a hurry with his eyes glued up the floor looking for teammates in the corner. Mason Smith | Small Forward | JEB Elite 2025
Mason Smith played with an unlimited motor and unwavering effort. Smith used his high-level basketball instincts well to his advantage, defensively looking to defend the paint by blocking shots and altering passes in the throwing lanes with his quick reaction to the play. Offensively, Smith blew by closeouts going left and right before finishing inside, he even showed some bounce when he left his feet, getting up high enough to slam dunk if he wanted to. His off-ball playmaking was outstandingly effective, there were several instances where Mason’s off-ball screen freed his teammate up for a wide-open layup under the basket.
