Sylvester Lewis, A 6-9 senior center has a ceiling worth of potential as he can score at all three levels with confidence. He is bouncy on the defensive end as he uses a ton of length whether it’s blocking shots or his high-percentage rebounding. On the offensive end, Lewis plays with an aggressive edge finishing on the attack whether it’s his high-level dunking or scoring off the catch. He has also continued to improve his footwork and handles when he has the basketball in his hands. Lewis was a hidden gem at the camp, but if you watched him play, you could see the potential. He isn’t a finished product, but the kid isn’t a project player either. There is plenty of value with him on the court as he had some emphatic blocks; There was a noticeable difference in the energy on the court when he was in the game. Lewis’ rim protection and hustle on the glass after misses stood out most to me.
